❄️Winter brings calmer conditions, less algae and stingers, water is the clearest leading to better visibility and a crowd free experience!

Shelly Beach is a peaceful marine protected bay, we have higher chances to see giant cuttlefish displaying their amazing colours as it’s their mating season 🤩

They flash incredible colours 🌈 during courtship or to startle threats. Males compete and put on hypnotic displays to impress females.

Some smaller males even disguise themselves as females to sneak in a chance to mate! 😳
