Hi to all and Happy New Year. I am testing the response to short Qigong courses that i have just created to address specific issues that we all might face. If there is sufficient interest I am intending on providing an aligned programme to work on these. The following is the 1st of these.

ISSUES
Reduced motion range
Core weakness
Torso lacking flexibility
Back/leg weakness
Balance lack

POSTURE ALIGNMENT/MOBILITY

Through practice Qigong can help you significantly improve your posture and mobility, It does this by focussing on the following areas;

1.Enhances Flexibility: Gently working on releasing tightened muscles and improving your joint and muscle motion range, increases overall mobility allowing for greater ease of movement while reducing the likelihood of injury from physical activity.

2. Improves Joint Health: Fluid controlled movements help lubricate your joints and maintain their health, stiffness and discomfort are reduced, improving mobility.

3. Strengthens Core Muscles: Holding postures to maintain proper alignment and support body weight engages your core abdominals, obliques, lower back muscles and legs, regular practice strengthens these muscles.

4. Promotes Balance and Coordination: Standing in relaxed yet stable postures for an extended period, developing your structural integrity through optimal skeletal alignment, enhances your balance and coordination during movement.

5. Increases Body Awareness: Practicing improved proprioception, (the body's awareness of its position in space). Cultivating deep body awareness by focusing on your internal sensations and any imbalance, allows for self-correction and improved overall body mechanics.

"Keep moving". One reason movement is vitally important is that your fluids can more easily move toxins to organs that process them, if you aren't sitting all day long.
