📚 Ted goes to Book Week! 📚

How super cute does Aria look 🥰🐻🥰
This very clever also made a special 3D poster. She even made her own Lambie from pom poms.

Aria's family adopted Ted #6 when her sister Eva was going in for heart surgery. Aria wanted to share with her classmates how Ted helped them all get ready and not feel scared.

Thanks so much for sharing your story with us Aria! Certainly made our week to see what you created 🙏

R U OK? Ted has been finding things a bit overwhelming recently but a good cuddle from one of his favourite always helps him feel safe and secure!

Sometimes talking through a toy can help a child express themselves and share feelings with you so why not get your favourite teddy, snuggle up and ask Ted how he is feeling today.

Excited to be part of the Jeans for Genes Virtual Gala again, this year virtually!

We're ready with the aptly named Denim Dazzler 🍹and it's delicious (none for Ted of course!)

Our Ted gift pack has already raised almost $200 in the Silent Auction for CMRI so a great start to the night. Ted #7 is looking forward to meeting his new forever family.

This Ted is very excited to be off on his first big adventure! He's heading to his forever home with a gorgeous little girl who's adopting him. Hope she's ready for lots of giggles and cuddles because Ted sure is 💓

Together with his accompanying storybook, Ted goes to hospital', Ted is helping his friend prepare for her own operation and just like Lambie does in the story, Ted will stay with her the whole time.

We're very excited to be part of Children's Book Council of Australia - NSW Branch's daily storytime with facebook live.

We’ll be doing a reading of ‘Ted goes to hospital’ as well as sharing how we go about writing books and sharing some we wrote when we were at school.

'Ted goes to hospital' is a great for kids aged 2-10 to help prepare them for visits to hospital either as a patient or visitor. Kids share Ted's journey through surgery, learning who they might meet and what might happen.

Make sure you let your daycare, preschool or school to tune in and comment with your child's first name and where you're from during the event and we'll give you a call-out!

You deserve all the sticky kisses, squidgy cuddles and shared giggles that you hopefully received today. Thank you for everything that you do to help children learn through play, day in, day out.

YOU.... you are the one they turn to when they are scared and you are the one who can share your strength, confidence and most of all calm with them.
