Many nurses fail the OSCE not because they’re unprepared— but because they prepared alone, with no proper guidance or hands-on practice.

This February, don’t do it alone. Train with a team that knows exactly what assessors look for. Practice every station. Correct your sequence. Build your confidence. And walk into your OSCE feeling READY.

Message us today and let’s start your OSCE journey the right way!

Many candidates fail emergency stations because they panic and forget the order.

👉 DRS ABCDE keeps you systematic, safe, and examiner-approved.

✔️ D – Danger
✔️ R – Response
✔️ S – Send for help
✔️ A-E – Prioritise life-threatening problems

In OSCE, what you do first matters just as much as what you do next.

Master this sequence and you’ll never freeze in an emergency station again.

Most OSCE candidates know sepsis —but still fail the Sepsis OSCE station.

❗OSCEs are evidence-based marking, not assumption-based
❗Examiners only mark what is said and demonstrated
❗Silence = not done (even if you thought it)

Example:
❌ “I’d monitor closely”
✅ “I’d escalate to the RN/Medical Team immediately due to suspected sepsis.”

Here is a simple OSCE mental model you can follow:
Recognise → Verbalise → Escalate → Intervene → Reassess

In the OSCE, safety checks are non-negotiable.
Missing just one step can cost you critical marks — or even the entire station.

Always remember to:
✔ Confirm patient identity (name + DOB)
✔ Match ID band with the chart
✔ Verify allergies — every time

These small checks show examiners that you prioritise patient safety, just like an Australian RN.
