Fat loss isn’t always the smartest goal.
And I say that as someone who still has fat loss goals.
But right now?
My life is full.
More financial pressure.
Building my business.
Supporting my family.
And I still want to be present in all of it.

And something bigger has been unfolding behind the scenes.
We’re making changes to how we approach our life and finances.
👉 Same goal
👉 Different strategy
And it made me realise…
this is exactly how I need to approach my body right now too.

I’ve lost 7.5kg of fat.
I’ve been cycling fat loss for 12 months.
And at some point…
👉 your body tells you it’s time to stop pushing
For me, that looked like:
Losing my love for training
Not sleeping as deeply
Dragging myself through my 10-minute rituals
👉 That’s not discipline. That’s a signal.

So this week, I added 100g of carbs back in.
Life got more stressful…
…but I handled it better.
More patient
More focused
More like myself
—
And there’s a strategy behind this.
My goal isn’t just fat loss.
👉 I want to build more muscle
👉 I want to get stronger
Because right now?
👉 my strength isn’t progressing the way it should
And without enough fuel:
👉 progress stalls
👉 you sit in a slow recomp phase
—
So instead, I’m choosing to:
👉 eat more
👉 build muscle
👉 get stronger
Because I know…
👉 that will make fat loss easier later

There’s a direct relationship between:
👉 how strong you are
👉 and how your body looks
And I can finally see that.
