UNSW WCsoc is bringing some 🚨 exciting news 🚨for students interested in the fields of paediatrics 👶 and obestetrics & gynaecology 🤰 !!

Be on the look out for inspiring key panel speakers 🔊 & FOUR exciting clinical workshops (to be revealed🤩) 💉 to learn behind the scenes 😲 and get hands on experience on two huge specialities 🤫🩺 Lunch and portfolio certificates will be provided to all attendees!

Paediatrics Workshops🐥🧸:
1)Newborn Baby Check (with hip dysplasia models!)
2)Paediatric Resuscitation

O&G Workshops:
1) Bimanual Palpation + Speculum Exam
2) IUD Insertion

🧸 Did you attend our MOA and WCSoc Teddy Bear Hospital training night in April? If the answer is YES - WCSoc and MOA wants you! 🫵 It is now time to put those skills into practice in our school sessions, where you will teach preschool and primary school kids all about health and build their confidence in engaging with the healthcare system!

We have THREE upcoming sessions:

Did you attend the Teddy Bear Hospital Training Session this year 🧸 ?
UNSW WCSoc and Medical Outreachers Australia are looking for keen volunteers to help out at ‼️ Toongabbie Kid's World on May 22nd ‼️ The commitment will involve teaching children about health and safety via the Teddy Bear Hospital, using the stations and knowledge learned in the training session. It is from 10am - 1pm so it will require very little of your time.

This is a super fun, very rewarding opportunity to work with kids and enhance your portfolio with a volunteering certificate! 🥰

Thank you to all who attended the WCSoc AGM last Monday!! 2023 has been a fantastic year for the WCSoc Team. We thoroughly enjoyed running popular signature events such as the Happy Fetus Short Course and Pathways Night, as well as hosting many successful Teddy Bear Hospital days Sexual Health Talks at different schools around Sydney.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported us this year and attended our events - it is lovely to see your passion for Women and Children’s Health! 🥰
