My piece in today's The Mercury Newspaper The 2025-26 NDIS Annual Pricing Review was released mid-last week and includes recommendations to reform NDIS funding arrangements. If accepted and implemented by the NDIS, it will result in the loss of services for Tasmanians most in need.
The unintended consequences of these recommendations are really bad! These therapy services are not lifestyle choices for NDIS participants!!

Throw back Thursday - this ABC feature from 5 years ago says so much about our SPEAK OUT! therapy. This small group continues to meet each week - coping with the Covid pandemic, coping with declining mobility, coping transition to supported living and surviving the many ups and downs of life with PD. Bottom line - Joan and her friends can all still communicate verbally despite these challenges. Therapy matters.
