Meet Muhammad Naseem.

He travels from Muzaffarabad to The Diabetes Centre (TDC), Islamabad, in search of treatment he simply cannot afford elsewhere. For months, Naseem suffered from blurred vision, until it became so severe that he could no longer continue his work.

When he arrived at TDC, doctors diagnosed that diabetes had affected his eyes, and he urgently needed cataract surgery.

There was a moment of silence as he shared his reality — he has no son to support him, and his daughters depend entirely on him. The burden felt overwhelming.

But at TDC, he was given hope. He was reassured that his surgery, treatment, and medications would all be provided completely free of cost.

Overcome with relief, Naseem expressed heartfelt gratitude to TDC and the generous donors who make such care possible.

Neuropathy causes wounds not to heal, infections to worsen, and can ultimately lead to amputation.

The Diabetes Centre (TDC) raises awareness about foot care for 10,000 people every year, conducts 5,000 podo scans, and has so far saved 43,000 individuals from losing their limbs.

Here, the amputation rate is only 1%, and even that step is taken only as a last resort.
