We believe the cards that find you are never random. Energy moves in currents and what you draw is often already circling your field, ready to be seen and understood.

These three cards arrive as a reflection of the moment you are standing in, offering clarity, confirmation or gentle redirection.

Available in store and online, each pack is prepared with intention and respect for the craft. A simple ritual in an envelope, a whisper from the unseen, a reminder that the path is always speaking. All you need to do is open it.

Persephone stands at the threshold between worlds. Daughter of Demeter and bride of Hades, she is not merely the maiden taken, but the sovereign who chose to reign.

Her myth tells of descent and return. Esoterically, this is not a tale of victimhood but of initiation. Persephone embodies the sacred passage through shadow, the alchemy of innocence into authority, the flowering that can only occur after burial.

She is both Kore, the untouched bloom, and the Queen of the Dead crowned in silence.

Her symbolism is layered. The pomegranate represents binding contracts, blood memory and the knowledge gained through experience. The narcissus marks the moment of enchantment before transformation.

The torch she carries illuminates liminal spaces, guiding souls and seekers alike. In occult practice, Persephone governs shadow integration, psychic awakening and the reclamation of power.

She teaches that descent is not punishment but process. To walk with her is to understand polarity, light and dark, surrender and command.

She is the archetype of the woman who has seen the abyss and returned with a crown.

To connect with Persephone is to honour cycles within your own life. Work with her during the waning moon or at seasonal turning points when something within you is dying or demanding rebirth.

Offer pomegranate, dark red flowers, spring blossoms, or a simple candle divided between light and shadow. Meditation with her requires stillness and willingness to confront what has been buried.

She does not rush, she reveals. Devotees often experience her presence as quiet strength rather than spectacle, a steady sovereignty that emerges after grief, heartbreak, or profound change.

In aligning with Persephone, you are not asking to be spared the underworld. You are asking to rule it 💜

Mira’s artworks do not sit quietly on a shelf. They watch you. They wait. They whisper to you leading you deeper into the forest.

There is a reason her prints run out the door.
You feel it before you understand it. The gaze of the veiled woman beneath the eclipse. The red bloom of poppies against blackened sky. Serpents curling through pale hands as if they have always belonged there. These are not decorative pieces. They are altar pieces. They hold the pulse of Hecate at the crossroads and the wild forest breath of Baba Yaga in her crooked hut. Threshold energy. Liminal women. The enchantress who does not ask permission to be powerful.

Her line work is sharp, devotional, almost ritualistic. Black and bone white with sudden bursts of blood-red florals that feel like offerings laid at the feet of something ancient. Moons arc overhead. Hands reach through shadow. Faces are both serene and otherworldly, as though mid spell. The energy screams for attention because it carries sacredness. It is not loud. It is commanding.

These are pieces for those who understand that art can be a portal. For the ones who know the witch archetype is not costume but current. When you take one of Mira’s prints home, you are not just filling a wall. You are inviting a presence. And she never arrives quietly.

Mira’s art is part of our soul here at store and we are so excited for the arrival of her latest works 🐦‍⬛💜

The Ouija board did not crawl out of a haunted attic as folklore would have you believe. 🐦‍⬛

It was patented in 1891 during the height of the American Spiritualist movement, when séances were fashionable parlour gatherings rather than horror film plot lines.

Businessman Elijah Bond filed the patent and it was later popularised by William Fuld, who helped turn it into a household curiosity. Even the name has a practical origin rather than a demonic one.

According to early accounts it simply combined the French and German words for “yes.” Far from being ancient occult technology, the board emerged during an era fascinated with communicating beyond the veil, at a time when grief from wars and epidemics made people hungry for contact with loved ones who had passed 💜

It is belived what makes the planchette move is not a spirit tugging at your fingertips (though a lot would disagree:) but something called the ideomotor effect, a documented psychological phenomenon in which tiny unconscious muscle movements guide the pointer without participants realising they are doing so.

The board becomes a mirror of the subconscious, a liminal storytelling device rather than a portal demanding exorcism. Hollywood amplified the fear, but historically it was marketed as wholesome entertainment and spiritual exploration, sold in toy catalogues long before it appeared in horror films.

If you choose to use one, approach it as you would any ritual tool. Set a clear intention, ground yourself, and treat the experience as a conversation. Keep the atmosphere respectful but not fearful. Close your session deliberately by thanking whatever insight arose and moving the planchette to “goodbye.” Like most witchcraft tools, its power lies not in the board itself but in the focused mind and the energy you bring to it.

Tucked quietly into Peakhurst, our little spellcraft store waits like a secret the world almost forgot. If you didn’t know to look for it, you might miss it entirely and perhaps that is part of the spell.🐦‍⬛

Inside, time loosens its grip. Bundles of herbs and botanicals hang from the rafters and laid stacked in baskets. Our crafted wards sway gently in unseen currents, handmade witches bells whisper protection over the doorway. Shelves are lined with remedies, spellcraft, old books that smell of memory and ink.

It is not loud here. It is layered. It hums low and steady, like a hearth that has never gone out.

Step across the threshold and let the outside world blur at the edges. Stay a while. Breathe in the dried rosemary and lemon balm. Run your fingers along the spines of forgotten wisdom.

Lose an hour. Lose the overthinking, breathe.

We are here, hidden in plain sight, keeping the lantern lit. Come and drift a little out of time with us.

This isn’t just a store for us it’s family, community, belonging and our home is your home. 💜

There are books you read and then there are books that read you.

We are honoured to stock a rare collection from Australian printers Fauun, a publisher devoted to restoring and presenting works that sit at the crossroads of mysticism, philosophy and forgotten knowledge. These are not glossy trend titles. They are artefacts. Thoughtfully bound transmissions that feel as though they’ve stepped out of another century and into your hands.

The Blue Island opens like a threshold, a crossing into the poetic and unseen. The Eternal News hums with esoteric current, inviting the reader to consider consciousness beyond the visible world. The Kybalion remains one of the most enduring Hermetic texts ever written, a quiet masterwork on universal law and mental transmutation. The Astral Plane maps the unseen dimensions with Victorian clarity and occult precision. And The Science of Getting Rich reminds us that prosperity begins in thought long before it appears in form.

What makes these editions truly unique is not only their content, but the reverence in their presentation. Fauun curates with intention. These books feel deliberate. Collected. Almost ceremonial.

If you are building a library that reflects your inner work if your shelves are an altar to knowledge these belong there. Seriously some of our all time favorites in this collection of works 💜

Available in store. Come and find the one that is calling you.🐦‍⬛
