𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬

I am so incredibly happy and excited to be launching our new Monday mid-morning meditation classes, beginning 9th March.

This offering feels special.

Whilst we still have the evening wind-down sessions — these are gentle, seated mid-morning sessions created to help you pause, reset and reconnect with yourself in the middle of everyday life.

Each class is fully guided and thoughtfully structured, introducing different meditation styles as we gently support you to discover what feels natural, accessible and supportive for your nervous system.

These sessions are 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐮𝐦𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐝-𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 to prioritise their wellbeing.

It’s a space to be guided, to soften the mind and to begin sensing the quiet stillness that already exists within you.

The benefits of meditation have been known and researched for years!!! Supporting stress reduction, emotional balance, mental clarity and overall wellbeing.

And now it feels like the right time to bring this practice more intentionally into our beautiful Sutherland Shire community.

I know what it feels like…

Sometimes what stays after a relationship isn’t the person —
it’s the way your nervous system experienced the connection.

You might logically know it’s over.

You may even feel ready to move forward.

But your body can still respond with guarding, anxiety, emotional heaviness, or hesitation to fully open again.

This isn’t because you’re stuck.

It’s because your nervous system learned something through that experience — about safety, closeness, loss, or protection.

And until that response is understood and gently supported, parts of you can continue to react as if the emotional threat is still present.

Holistic counselling isn’t about over-analysing the past.

It’s about helping you understand your nervous system, process what was held emotionally, and slowly rebuild a sense of internal safety so connection no longer feels overwhelming, confusing, or unsafe.

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting.

It means feeling calmer, clearer, and more secure within yourself.

Many people leave feeling lighter, emotionally understood, and with a sense of calm they haven’t felt in a long long time.

Good Morning 🌅

A reminder what’s on this week if you feel like you need some space to breathe, slow down or get out of your head.

Tonight — Inner Compass | 6:30pm

We’re continuing our manifesting theme… but in a really grounded way. Calm breathing, sensory awareness and a guided meditation that helps you soften, reconnect and drop into deep rest.

It’s less about “trying to manifest” and more about creating the space internally where clarity and direction naturally come through.

Wednesday — Holistic Harmony | 6:30pm

My favourite!
A deep rest class that helps calm your nervous system, release tension from the body and give your mind a break so you can move into the rest of the week feeling lighter and more settled.

Hi Everyone!

I don’t know about you… but I feel this some Sundays.

Part of me just wants to stay in comfy clothes, slow down and properly rest…but another part of my mind is already running through everything I SHOULD get done before the week begins.

The washing, getting organised, messages, emails, planning — that quiet pressure to be productive.

And I notice that little internal conflict between wanting to rest and feeling like I should be doing more.

But I’ve also learned something.

When I actually allow myself to rest — not just physically, but mentally — I move through the highs and lows of the week so much better.

I’m calmer.
More patient.
Less reactive.
More able to handle what life throws at me.

So some Sundays I remind myself… not everything needs to be finished today.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is give our nervous system a breather 🙏

Good Morning ☀️

I don’t know about you but it’s been a busy week. That kind of week where sitting here now feels like a blur!!!

It can be now like today when the schedules slow down, where we get REAL choice to rest.

NEXT SUNDAY I’m hosting the next SOUND BATH and it falls on the first day of autumn — a beautiful time to release the rush of summer and move into the new season feeling calmer, lighter and more grounded.

Our last session SOLD OUT and this session is intentionally small so you can truly switch off and feel held in stillness.

There’s also a powerful reason sound works so deeply —
sound and vibration are felt by the body, not just heard, helping slow brainwave activity and activate the nervous system’s rest and recovery response.

The last Sound Bath was a few months ago and I loved seeing everyone really truly relax. It’s common to feel during and after the session:

✨ mentally quieter
✨ physically lighter
✨ emotionally softer
✨ deeply rested (and sleeping beautifully afterwards)

You don’t need to do anything perfectly.

You simply lie down, fully supported with pillows, blankets, eye pillows and bolsters to relax your legs and allow your body to soften. It is THE BEST!

You may not necessarily need more time.
You may need more presence.

Mindfulness isn’t about sitting perfectly still or stopping your thoughts….nope.

It’s about being fully here —

while making a coffee, driving to work, replying to an email or taking a breath between conversations. Today for me it’s taking a break from the laptop before the next meeting.

The smallest moments are where your nervous system softens.

Where clarity returns.

Where your body finally feels safe to exhale.

This is the work I teach….its all about creating SPACE ✨

Not escape from life — but learning how to be with life differently at work or at home!

✨ Less autopilot
✨ More awareness
✨ More space between thoughts
✨ A body that feels calmer, steadier, supported

And the beautiful part?

It starts in the simplest tasks.

✨ NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION ✨

But what does it actually mean?

It’s about your autonomic nervous system — the part of your body that runs automatically.

It controls your heart rate, breathing, digestion, sleep and how you respond to stress.

There are two main parts:

✨ Sympathetic — your fight or flight system.
This helps you get things done. Focus. Take action. Meet deadlines.

✨ Parasympathetic — your rest and repair system.
This slows your heart, deepens your breath, supports healing and sleep.

You need both.

You need to activate when life requires it.
And you need to be able to come back down.

Balance isn’t being calm all the time.

Balance is being able to move between both states with ease.

The problem?

Many of us are stuck in activation.
Always “on.”
Rushing. Thinking. Doing.

And the body never fully settles.

This was me.

Until I learnt how to work with my nervous system — not against it.

Through holistic counselling, belief work, meditation therapy, yoga and sound, I teach simple, practical ways to signal safety to your body.

When your body feels safe:
• your thoughts slow
• your reactions soften
• your sleep improves
• your capacity grows

This isn’t fluff….despite what you may see online!

It’s understanding how your body is designed to function.

And learning how to bring it back into balance.

🎶 The Stillness Collective - Sound Bath 🎶

Hi Everyone!

Have you ever noticed how you feel when your favourite song comes on?

You hear the beat, the layers, the rise and fall… and suddenly you feel happier, lighter, energised?

That’s vibration moving through your body.

Sound isn’t just something we hear — it’s something we feel.

Our bodies are made up largely of water and are incredibly receptive to frequency and rhythm. Certain tones can energise us. Others can calm us. Some can soften tension we didn’t even realise we were holding.

This is exactly how a sound bath works.

In The Stillness Collective – Part 2 Renewal, I use crystal sound bowls, chimes and layered tonal vibrations to gently guide your nervous system from “on” to “safe.”

When the nervous system feels safe:
• your breath naturally slows
• your heart rate steadies
• muscle tension softens
• your thoughts begin to space out

The tones create a rhythmic, predictable soundscape that signals to the body it can let go. You’re not analysing, planning or doing — you’re receiving. And in that space, recalibration happens.

On Sunday 1st March (1.30–3pm) — the first day of autumn — we gather at the Alchemy Centre of Transformation in Gymea for a seasonal reset.

Autumn symbolises release. A shedding. A return to steadiness.

Together we’ll:

✨ let go of the chaos and expectations of the new year
✨ settle the nervous system
✨ move through guided visualisation
✨ set grounded intentions for the months ahead

DESK STRESS?

Quick RESET if you’re working at a desk like me.

Most of our stress sits here in the shoulders and neck - especially when we are concentrating.

THE SHOULDER DROP

Try this with me.

Inhale. Lift them up….slow exhale and drop.

Do that 3 times!

Your nervous system operates quietly in the background all day long — controlling your breathing, heart rate, stress response — without you even thinking about it.

When your body is tight and bracing, it assumes there’s danger. When you soften and release, it gets the message… ‘I’m safe.’

And even one small moment like this can help your system pause, reset, and come back to calm.

SIMPLE and it works!

✨ What is Holistic Counselling? ✨

A lot of people hear the word counselling and think it means being told what to do…
being analysed…
or trying to “fix” what’s wrong.

That’s not how I work.

Holistic Counselling with me is based on humanistic psychology, which simply means this:

I don’t see you as a problem to solve.
I see you as a whole person.

Capable.
Resourceful.
Already holding wisdom within you.

Sometimes that wisdom just gets buried under stress, responsibility, worry and overwhelm.

My role isn’t to give you answers.
It’s to help you create space —
so you can slow down, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your own clarity.

Because when your body feels safer…
your thoughts soften…
your emotions feel more manageable…
and the right next steps naturally emerge.

In our sessions we combine conversation with practical tools like breathwork, grounding, meditation therapy - so change isn’t just something you understand mentally…you actually feel it.

I work with women and men (both in person and online) especially through midlife transitions, stress, health or relationship changes —those seasons where life becomes challenging and life asks more of you.
