For years I admired women who were so confident in the way she expressed herself, and who could speak so effortlessly.
I used to doubt myself a lot and my way of expression.

Thinking it was "too feminine."

But.. as I went into embodiment work, womb work, menstrual cycle awareness, sensual movement, pleasure practices (all the things I teach inside the Feminine Remembrance Come Home To Yourself group program), I came to understand my power, my strength and expression lies in the pelvic bowl, In my body.

This is where feminine empowerment, healing, and understanding your power really lies.
This is how we actually speak from truth.
This is where you begin to really embrace the authentic YOU without hiding.

Practice slowing down

How do you do that if your mind is racing you might ask?

To slow down means to notice all the small moments and blessings in each moment.
It is building the strong foundation in your body to allow sensations to move through you- no good or bad

We often think that if I do yoga or learn a dance, I am moving down from my mind and into the body.

But this is not always the case.

This is only temporary.

We can practice and inviting in intentional slow movements to soothe the nervous system.

We can practice making space in our body to know it is safe to feel all the feels.

To allow our slow movements and breath become the tool for meeting with our pain and the stories that are playing out in your day to day life.

You can learn to choose sensual, slow practices instead of feeding into these stories.

You can choose gratitude to become the prayer that guides you life.

You can choose to appreciate your senses in each moment.

In this way, your mind stops taking center stage.

And you begin to drop into the body and allow her to lead your life.

But you have to choose.

Chose to honour YOU in each moment. And begin to see the magic unfold.

Everyone has dark and light.

We need the dark to reflect on our light to be whole.

However, we have been taught that the unseen forces are unacceptable, so we have been been forced to keep in in a little cave and push it all the way down.

The things could be in the way we express ourselves in the way we are vulnerable, in our desires and dreams, the way we place boundaries, the way we dress, the way we love etc

These aspects of you will always come through in every relationship and constantly being reflected back to you. So it is our job to be in safe containers to meet with these denied aspects of ourselves.

It is about being in a relationship and dialogue with all of these parts. Rather than acting on them in distorted ways.

Having a healthy relationship is similar to having a deep love, curiosity and wanting to get to know all those parts of you that you have been rejecting- this is where you reclaim your power.
