Throughout my rebirth and regrowth during my 30s I continue to go through these 8 processes.

Each time I go through them there are new levels of realisation and new portals open.

This blueprint became the foundation of The Womanly Way's evolution matrix.

This foundation layered with the cyclic patterns of our planet, feminine archetypal journey, chakra system and other modalities and systems, formed this powerful healing, growth and evolution journey.

Yesterday I was reminded again that I needed to share more about The Womanly Way.

This is a system using various tools, systems, strategies, ancient wisdom and spirit connections to allow us to Love, Know and Connect with ourselves.

This is something that I have channeled and something that I am a custodian of.

My job as a guide is to guide you through the process so you can connect with the wisdom and cellular memories you have within you.

Inside all of us is a wise woman waiting to be reawakened.

I can't remember when was the last time that I was so excited about an offer.

My First offer of the year and something that I really feel called to do this year.

People often think about "The Chamber" as something scary, I guess it's probably because of the association with the gas chamber and death.

My vision for The Chamber inside of The WomanlyWay is one of healing, transformation and re-birth.

In order to achieve all three, we often have to go through some sort of death, and to me, this is what stops most people from pursuing this path of expansion.

Ultimately, most people are scared of death in one way or another.

The Chamber is really not for just anyone.

But for the ones that are willing to go through a temporary death in order to reach the other side, my desire is for you to come into this chamber and be blessed with the gift of divine downloads, teachings and activations that will come through me on the day.

My desire is for this to act like a refreshing mist that will have you feeling re-energised, refreshed and recentered through this experience and as a result return to a place of harmony in all aspects of you.

Like all energy work, this is an energy exchange.

∆∆ Empowering Women in Construction and Beyond ∆∆ Part 3

Provide more empowerment by providing more flexibility and options

One of the suggestions that came out of the panel discussion was about having more choices and female dedicated Personal Protective Clothing instead of wearing the ones in smaller men's sizes.

Whilst empowerment to me isn't necessarily about what I wear, it is knowing that there are options out there for me if I do desire to pursue them.

Right now as I'm preparing the head back to work in about 3 months time (YES I'm already mentally preparing myself for the day I'm sending George to Child care)😭😭😭 it gives me so much comfort to know that I do have the option of working from home some of the days.

What gives me even more comfort is that my managers have already started thinking about creative ways to support my transition back to work. Big shoutout to Rod Burger for suggesting having a creche in our office (now that's what innovation is all about)

I have to say workplaces (especially in construction) have become a whole lot more flexible in the last two years due to you know what and I'd like to think employers would also start to consider more ways to retain quality staff in the competitive market at the moment.

For us as individuals seeking empowerment through flexibility and options at work, my advice would be to "invest" in a reputable employer that cares.

It is a competitive employment market out there right now. So if you are looking for new opportunities, don't be afraid to shop around and ask around.

Also, make sure you know what you want and how you desire to work so you can negotiate that into your package

For those who desire to stay with your current employer but would like to have a bit of extra? Speak to your managers and ASK.

YOU DON'T ASK YOU DON'T GET

and most of the time, you will probably get what you ask for anyway.

∆∆ Empowering Women in Construction and Beyond ∆∆
Part 2

Mentorship to me is the most important of on my own journey to feeling empowered.

Over the years, I've participated in both paid and unpaid mentorship. My mentors have been male and female, as well as people from both within the industry as well as outside of the industry.

THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE

👁️ Seek mentors! It's a must if you would like to achieve great things.
💵 Pay (aka invest) for your mentors as well as utilise the free industy resources
📈 Always have at least 2 mentors, one from within your industry and one from a completely different industry

FREE LUNCHES NEVER TASTE AS GOOD AS ONE WE HAVE TO PAY FOR

I not only have observed this with myself but also with my mentees too.

When we are in free mentoring programs, the commitment is never as strong as the ones that we are financially invested.

I often see mentees drop out halfway through a free program, whereas, ones that have to pay for my mentoring service would continue to show up and do the work.

It's no one's fault.
It's human nature.
When we don't have skin in the game, we are less invested.

So! Industry bodies!
STOP RUNNING FREE PROGRAMS
Instead, offer scholarship type mentorship programs where applicants have to pay for some of the costs upfront.

INVEST IN YOUR POINT OF DIFFERENCE
I also find that having mentors from outside of my industry meant they are able to offer very different perspectives.

Having my own mentoring business on the side also meant that I can apply some of the creative thinking required to run an online business to my career.

But what if my ideas are too indifferent to the NORM in construction? You may ask!

GREAT!
Because this then becomes my point of difference.

I believe innovation and creative thinking are something that we all need more of. Doesn't matter in what industry.

Perhaps not everyone would appreciate it, but it is definitely a key skill set for leaders of today's world.

The only way for any company to evolve and grow is to continue to innovate.

So don't be afraid to be different. Instead, invest in discovering your uniqueness and mentors that will empower you to be different and shine your light as bright as you can.

💪💪💪 Empowering Women in Construction (and other industries) 💪💪💪

The word Empower is defined by the English Oxford dictionary as "make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights."

To me, in the context of one's career, it means to have the skills, abilities and options that would allow me to confidently make decisions toward what I desire to achieve in my career and in life.

And if I were to offer 3 keys to empowering women in construction (and any other industries for that matter) it would be:

1. Seek mentorship - especially paid mentoring with two types of mentors; someone in your industry and someone in a completely unrelated industry

2. As an industry, provide more options for flexible working arrangements to create opportunities for mums to remain in the industry and progress their career

3. Women! Invest in yourself and build your confidence and empowerment. Don't wait for someone else to lend you a hand and lift you up.
