If there’s anyone who embodies what our community is all about, it’s this guy. 🙌🏼

Matt shows up no matter what, 5am PT sessions, 6:30pm classes, Saturday mornings… you name it, he’s here! Bringing the energy and a smile that lifts the whole room 🕺🏽

His transformation so far has been epic, but what makes him truly stand out is his consistency, positivity, the way he welcomes & encourages everyone around him!

Meet Bianca a mum of 2 who is the definition of strong, determined & inspiring 💪🏽

Bianca joined BAB at 29 weeks pregnant with baby #2, returned just 2 months postpartum and has since achieved an incredible 18.5kg (and counting) weight loss + a full body transformation 🤩

With two little ones under 3, Bianca has shown what’s possible when you make yourself a priority. She’s gone from strength to strength, now smashing weights and on her way to her first body weight pull-up 🙌🏼

Let Bianca’s journey be the reminder to all mummas out there: life doesn’t stop when you have kids - it’s just the beginning of building the best version of you 🖤

Every month we celebrate those who show up, push boundaries, and inspire others – and these two absolutely delivered!

June: Nic
Down 15kg and up in muscle, strength, and consistency 🙌🏼
Despite a demanding work schedule, Nic gets it done, smashing out his own sessions alongside PT and staying on top of his nutrition. Discipline over motivation every time!

July: Renee
Living with MS and battling fatigue, Renee still turns up -> early mornings, late nights, whatever it takes.
After a recent injury, she’s gone from bodyweight squats to 65kg in just weeks, she is now leaning into performance-based goals rather than chasing numbers on the scale & has reflected her nutrition around this (which is always spot on btw!!). It would be easy to give in & succumb to the cards thrown at her but instead Renee has turned her struggles into strength 💪🏽

Protein ON-THE-GO 🏃🏽‍♀️

Getting enough protein each day is crucial — for maintaining muscle, supporting recovery, managing hunger, and overall body composition.

And for busy days? On-the-go, high-protein snacks can make all the difference.

BUT — here’s the important part:
👉🏼 Just because it’s high in protein doesn’t mean it’s always low in calories.

In fact, many protein snacks (bars, shakes, bites) can pack 200–400+ calories.
If you’re not mindful, it’s easy to overshoot your calorie needs — even when eating “healthy.”

🔍 Here’s what to keep in mind:
✔️ Always check both protein content and calorie total
✔️ Aim for snacks with at least 10–20g of protein
✔️ Choose options that align with your personal macros and goals — whether that’s fat loss, muscle gain, or maintenance
✔️ Whole food sources like boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, and cottage cheese often give you more bang for your buck than some processed bars

Food isn’t a behaviour, it’s not right or wrong — food is food, food is fuel.

Our two hot tips this long weekend:
🐰 Eat the damn egg and enjoy it!
🐰 Balance your weekend with nourishing foods. This goes for you and your family. Serve your chocolate with other nourishing foods; make yourself or the kids a plate and incorporate all three macronutrient elements; - Avocado on toast, cooked eggs or meat, sautéed spinach/veg and chocolate eggs of choice. There’s your Easter breakfast!

Of course, set boundaries for yourself if you’re knee deep on your weight-loss journey, but please — don’t be that person that froths over everyone else enjoying chocolate this weekend whilst you’re reluctantly munching on a carrot 🥕 stick.
Deprivation will only lead to an unhealthy mindset and eventually over eating.

Eat the eggs this weekend, and even the following days after, show your kids there’s no such thing as ‘good and bad foods’ food is food, nourishment is key.
