I’ve been wanting to share this with you for a while… and honestly, I’m so excited about it.

If you’ve been trying to understand your gut — the bloating, the reflux, the constipation, the unpredictable bowels, the “I’ve tried everything and nothing sticks” cycle — I think this might finally give you the clarity you’ve been looking for.

After years of teaching practitioners, analysing hundreds of microbiomes, and seeing gut patterns repeat again and again… I’ve created something I wish every patient had before they start working on their gut:

👉 The Complete Gut Health Course
A step-by-step, evidence-based, totally approachable program to help you understand how your digestive system works, why symptoms show up, and what you can do (safely) to support your gut.

No fads. No restrictive diets. No overwhelming science.
Just clear, practical, clinical-quality education… in plain English.
And because this community has been with me for so long, I’m offering something special:

🎉 30% OFF until December 31st
(That brings the course down to $347 — usually $497.)
Inside the course, you’ll learn things like:
• what “normal” gut function actually looks like
• common reasons symptoms appear — and what they might mean
• how your gut affects mood, immunity, hormones and metabolism
• ways to support your microbiome with real food and simple routines
• when it’s time to get testing, and what tests actually tell you
• how to stop the guesswork and finally understand your body

This isn’t a treatment plan. It’s a foundation — the education piece most people are missing.

And honestly… when you understand your gut, everything becomes easier. You stop fearing symptoms, and you start making choices that actually make sense.

If you’ve been wanting to feel more confident, more informed, and more in control of your gut health, this is for you.

I really hope to see you inside — I think it might be the most empowering thing you do for your health this year. 💛

The Complete Gut Health Course A structured gut-health education program grounded in clinical practice and evidence This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the digestive system - what it does, how it works, what happens when it doesn’t work well, and how everyday nutrition and lifestyl...

How can diet influence disease risk?

Here is a comparison of the effects of whole-plant foods and processed foods on the gut microbiome and its implications for host physiology, immunology, metabolism, and disease risk.

> Whole-plant foods provide health-promoting phytochemicals and dietary fibres through numerous mechanisms via their biotransformation by gut microbiota.

> Processed foods elicit negative effects on the gut environment due to the absence of these compounds and the presence of emulsifiers, salt, and acellular nutrients.

Must Join Webinar On Leaky Gut (FREE)

This is the last webinar from the three-part series "Advanced Clinical Understanding of Increased Intestinal Permeability". By the end of this webinar, clinicians will leave with an advanced understanding of the management of increased intestinal permeability in clinical practice, allowing them to provide the best care to their patients.

Register for this FREE webinar here: https://us02web.zoom.us/.../reg.../WN_dwAJTAqdSP-Zr9WQL8Fbpg

When: May 27th at 6am QLD/NSW time - Yes, it's an early presentation this Friday.

Topics:
1) IP Guideline development process,
2) Evidence-based recommendations to follow for the management of increased intestinal permeability in clinical practice,
3) Clinical application of the IP Guideline.

Synopsis:
In the last webinar of this series, Brad will share the results of the Clinical Practice Guideline For The Management Of Increased Intestinal Permeability (IP Guideline). The IP Guideline is the first clinical practice guideline designed to support clinicians managing people with increased intestinal permeability. The developed recommendations provide clinicians with direction for dietary recommendations, probiotic, prebiotic and synbiotic supplementations, plant-based medicines, and dietary supplements for the management of increased intestinal permeability. Brad will provide clinicians with a total of 38 clinical recommendations they can use in managing intestinal permeability in clinical practice.

Speaker:
Brad Leech is an internationally recognised Clinical Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Herbalist. After entering the integrative medicine profession in 2008, Brad has taught and developed subjects at leading academic institutions in Integrative Gastroenterology, Naturopathic Medicine, Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine and Public Health Research. As Clinical Science Lead in integrated and functional medicine at Microba, his expertise in integrative gastrointestinal healthcare enables him to translate the latest science on the gut microbiome into practical clinical application. Brad is in the final stages of completing his PhD at the Australian Research Centre in Complementary and Integrative Medicine, University of Technology Sydney. His research involves developing the IP Guidelines, an evidence-based clinical practice guideline for managing increased intestinal permeability. His previous research has focused on autoimmune disease management, health outcomes associated with food-based probiotics and integrative healthcare management. New Leaky Gut Research!

The results of my latest research (just published) are gaming changing to our understanding of leaky gut!
We found that Australian adults with intestinal permeability (leaky gut) had worse subjective well-being compared to the Australian population. This highlights for the first time in the literature the clinical consequence of altered intestinal permeability. We also found a number of dietary products, dietary supplements, lifestyle therapies and medication associated with either the improvement or exacerbation of intestinal permeability.

The intestinal barrier is the first line of defence against pathogens and antigens in the gut and it encompasses both physical and chemical properties. However, little is known about its critical function for maintaining health and how barrier function is influenced by the microbiota under healthy conditions or in physiological states.

This infographic displays how a dysfunctional intestinal barrier may play a role in the development of gastrointestinal diseases.

Is there a link between leaky gut and COVID-19?

These findings support that the intestine may represent a source for bacteremia through a leaky gut and may contribute to worsening COVID-19 outcomes.

Therapies targeting the gut and prevention of gut barrier defects may represent a strategy to improve outcomes in COVID-19 patients.

Find out more about leaky gut here: https://bradleech.com/intestinal-permeability-testing/

The gut is a well-established route of infection and target for viral damage by SARS-CoV-2. This is supported by the clinical observation that about half of COVID-19 patients exhibit gastrointestinal ( GI ) symptoms. We asked whether the analysis of plasma could provide insight into gut barri...

"Increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut) after gliadin (gluten) exposure occurs in all individuals. Following gliadin exposure, both patients with gluten sensitivity and those with active celiac disease demonstrate a greater increase in intestinal permeability than celiacs in disease remission."

Background: Intestinal exposure to gliadin leads to zonulin upregulation and consequent disassembly of intercellular tight junctions and increased intestinal permeability. We aimed to study response to gliadin exposure, in terms of barrier function and ...
