Let’s get real about IBS and itchy skin conditions!

Ever scanned your desk and realised half the stuff there is an effort to keep your gut happy? This is my real-life snack stash: from fermented kraut to green juices. Building a resilient gut doesn’t have to be complicated, even when you’re juggling work, family and unpredictable symptoms.

Here are 3 things that help me (and my clients) manage IBS flares and skin troubles:
✨ Add at least one fermented food per day (kimchi’s my favourite, but this superkraut is a close second)
✨ Hydrate with small sips throughout the day rather than gulping fluids with meals (goodbye mid-afternoon bloat)
✨ Smart swaps: good quality green smoothies and wholegrain sourdough make excellent gut-friendly mid-morning snacks

⚠️ Note: Fermented foods don’t suit everyone. In fact, those who need them most are often the most reactive. If that’s you, supplemental probiotics can step in.
