Who are the members of our research group? Over the next few weeks, we will introduce you to the team working hard to improve support provided to Australia's family and friend carers. First up, we are introducing the leader of our group Dr Rebekah Laidsaar-Powell. Rebekah has been conducting research into the needs and experiences of families of people with chronic illness for more than 15 years. She is the founding chair of a national Cancer Carers special interest group and has dedicated her career to improving the way we recognise and support carers. Our team have developed a new an online program to help carers manage fear or worry about their loved one’s cancer coming back or spreading. If you aged 18 years or older and a carer to a person diagnosed with cancer or a recurrence in the last 5 years you may be eligible to participate. We are looking for people who have supported someone with cancer to help develop a resource to help carers make decisions about seeking support for their emotional needs.

You may be eligible if you:
• Are >18 years old
• Have provided support to an adult with cancer in the last 5 years

Participation involves:
• A 15 minute online survey
• At least one Zoom interview (max 1 hour)
