Yesterday we were honoured to be a part of a traditional Greek Orthodox funeral service. This funeral was for a person Vanessa knows personally; he was the uncle of one of her closest friends. He was a man with a strong heart and a beautiful personality that touched so many lives. His love for his family and his love of soccer will remain in the hearts and memories of all who loved and knew him. Rest in peace, Damianos ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤍🤍🤍🤍

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, father in law, papou, great papou, brother, brother in law, uncle, family member and friend.

A viewing will be held at St Euphemia Greek Orthodox Church, Railway Terrace, Bankstown on Thursday 21st August 2025 at 5:30pm.

The funeral service will be held at St Euphemia Greek Orthodox Church, Railway Terrace, Bankstown on Friday 22nd August 2025 at 10:00am.

Following the service, the committal will take place at Rookwood General Cemetery.

Sincere thanks extended for the warm sentiments and expressions of sympathy and condolences received from Damianos's family at this difficult time.
