Playsense occupational therapy for children is a behaviour therapy and occupational therapy service for children in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. We are a small team who see children with difficulties with; gross motor skills, fine motor skills, visual perception skills, motor planning, social skills, regulation and behaviour difficulties, handwriting skills, play skills and many other areas relating to development.
We work with children and families to provide assessment and intervention that is suitable to each individual child. We often send home activities and equipment for families to enable carry over of the skills learnt in occupational therapy. We work closely with teachers and other health professionals to ensure that there is consistency in the childβs program.
We have a particular interest in behaviour and regulation and we work with many families to provide support and skills in how to develop their childβs social and emotional skills.
We are located in Maroubra Junction and we provide clinic, home and school sessions.
We are registered with private health funds, Medicare, Helping children with Autism funding and self and plan managed NDIS funding.
