Many of us suffer from tiredness, cramps, headaches, backaches and our periods change throughout the life cycle. As well as being the world’s leading female yoga teacher Geeta Iyengar held a doctorate in Ayurveda and she says β€œ From Day One until the menstruation ends one should stick to the practice of those asanas that help women keep healthy and that do not create an obstruction to the menstrual flow. Those asanas have to be selected which do not make her run out of energy or bring any hormonal disturbance.” ~So, when it is your time of the month, enjoy this inward and restful sequence – and be surprised at how energising it actually is. Just a little lunchtime quote to think about :)

How often do we get trapped in our own mind? how often do we hold on to things that just don't matter all that much? how often do we fail to consider that others don't purposely mean to hurt us, they are just doing the best they can with the tools they have?

Before moving to Sydney I taught , hot, power and all over London from 2011 plus ran a few gorgeous across Europe and in Marrakech. In the year before we left I taught post natal with my very own Annabel.

with are ! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ So our Yoga class will focus on how strong we are. There will be a few flows, with variations suitable for all, mixed with poses to restore busy Mamma & . All this while my babies and yours will be safely in the crΓ¨che with Jack’s wonderful nannies.

Like all we will go at your pace and can focus on anything (yoga related!) you would like to. For this first week we will be focusing on the mullha bandha / root lock / pelvic floor and how you can add lifting it into every pose throughout class without it being all by itself at the start or end. This should leave us all and ready to greet our babies in the crèche afterwards with and !
