When Transcendental Meditation Helps Your Ideas Flowing!
Therese began practicing Transcendental Meditation at our centre just a few months ago. Just two weeks into her practice, she found her ideas for her writing starting to flow - a change that was so delightful for her. She has had writer's block for a few years, and she was frustrated.
This new found creativity and concentration allowed her to complete her story in time to submit for the Lane Cove Library Award — and the rest, as they say, is history!
On 18th November 25, she was awarded the Burns Bay Bookery Resident’s Award in the Lane Cove Literary Awards for her short story, “Nothing Is Set in Stone” in a lovely ceremony.
It is a lovely reminder that when the mind settles, everything changes — creativity, decision-making, relationships, and all it takes is 20 minutes twice a day.
And it made us wonder… what’s your story that we can celebrate? Share it with us — we’d love to hear
