Bilateral breast reduction, abdominoplasty and repair of abdominal muscle separation

This delightful patient achieved 20kg of weight loss before undergoing breast reduction surgery together with abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and repair of divarication (abdominal muscle separation).

After photo is 6 weeks following surgery.

Gynaecomastia surgery. Bilateral subcutaneous mastectomy, liposuction to chest + excess skin excision.
This patient had gynaecomastia in both breasts. Although the volume of breast tissue was not massive, given his low percent body fat it is noticeable and causes him distress.
He was treated with whole gland excision, thinning of the ni**le ar**la complex, liposuction to chest and excising excess skin around the ni**le to minimise contour deformity. After result is 4 weeks post surgery.

Teaching the next generation of breast surgeons at the Oncoplastics course.

This young man achieved a 40kg weight loss through diet and exercise alone. He had grade 3 gynaecomastia with excess skin and breast tissue. I did a full gland and skin excision with repositioning of the ni**le. Liposuction to the chest was utilised to improve contouring. The after photos are 3 weeks following surgery.

This patient had a large multifocal right breast cancer (outlined with marking pen) measuring more than 4cms. I was able to remove the cancer and perform a breast lift at the same time. LICAP (lateral intercostal artery perforator) flap was concurrently used to close the large cavity left by cancer resection.
A left breast lift will be performed once cancer treatment has concluded.

After photos are 2 weeks following cancer resection.

Entire breast gland excision with liposuction for grade II gynaecomastia. Liposuction is essential in this case to reduce contour deformity and improve muscular definition.
This gentleman had 158gms of breast tissue removed from the right breast and 82gms of glands excised from the left breast on top of 150mls of liposuction from each breast.
