Over the last 4 weeks, we have had the pleasure of hosting OT students Vanessa and Keira from the University of Sydney on their paediatric clinical placement.

Over the course of their 8 week placement, students gain real-world experience supporting children with developmental, physical, or sensory needs. Under supervision, they learn to assess, plan, and deliver therapy that helps kids participate in everyday activities like play, school, and self-care.

This holidays, we our Teen Life Skills group at our Chatswood clinic. Our teen group helps young people develop essential skills for independence, where they learn practical skills like money management, road safety, shopping, simple meal preparation, and cleaning, all in a supportive, hands-on environment. This group is designed to foster social interaction and friendships, build confidence, and prepare teens for everyday tasks, setting them up for success and increased independence in life.
