Protect Our☝🏽🌍 would like to give a massive shout out, hats 🎩 off and congratulations 👏 to and the team for winning the best Romance/Drama through ‘SONY Catchlight Film Festival.

The apple didn’t fall far from the tree with Tahls’ Dad, (a founding PO1 member) making surf videos and always enjoying documenting/filming what PO1 does to get the word out about Ocean Conservation.

Tahlia and the film the crew also did a short Doco named ‘Cleaning Up’ which is about how PO1 started, why there is a need for groups like PO1 and our mission. (The full Doco is in a post on our page)

You guys absolutely smashed it and we are so proud and stoked for yas ✊🏼

A few weeks back we had our first organised beach clean for a good while.

The turn out from the community was incredible and we all managed to collect 2 full council bins of rubbish of the beach that would of ended up back in the ocean.

It was a great feeling to see people actively enjoying taking care of Country and planet.

A huge thank you to and for promoting this cleanup through the school and to all the kids and families that came and helped out.

Kids are the future and to see some of them stay, help pack up and not want to stop cleaning is a true blessing and confirms what we do creates positive change.

It was a windy cold day with the cold wind coming straight of the water onto us which made it uncomfortable but in all honesty we all felt right at home and comfortable doing the work and doing what we love.

Thanks you again to everyone and the PO1 fam for making this cleanup possible and for the great results, Mother Earth is always greatful for the work!

Looking forward for the next clean up comin soon!

This is just wonderful and brings so much positive value. Communities close to the city and all communities need more of this.

Not only is this educational for adults and especially kids in an ancient language format, but a positive racial format in helping recognise we are ☝🏼, a cultural format, a spiritual format, a story tellin format and ancient indigenous history format.

We wonder if this gets taught in most schools, ancient language and story tellin…

Such a small idea creates a huge impact considering the amount of beach users who don’t know about this Country’s history and world wide indigenous history.

Positive things like this create questions and question leads to education and education can lead to understanding connection with all things.

You can count that kids will ask the question when they read -Maroubra “A Place Of Thunder”and see indigenous artwork and will put two and two together or be educated by some else who knows.

It brings awareness, connection, history and values to our society and community.

We would love to see more around the community, Country and Planet.

Today some of the men from our community gathered together for a yarn and were blessed with Yoga, counselling, making new friends, Original Indigenous stories, dance, songs, culture, education and Yadaki healing. We would all like to say a massive thanks for putting on this positive energy, vibration, body/mind/spirit, healing and new friendship making retreat. Thanks Heaps to & .

You two make a great team and the community is blessed to have you.

These events are a life changing experience and we could feel there was no ego and just love for our brothers to be better and happier people.

Keep an eye out for what these guys are coming out with.

Thanks for the Yidaki . This will be played with full respect for ancestors, nature and your people.

“Protect Our 1” on Spotify that released on behalf of 🌏, the band and PO1. Thanks you so much Crash, I’m lost for words with this one. The evolution of this group and meeting you Chris, and the rest of the group and friends has been nothing short of micro cosmic synchronised events.
