September is Dementia Awareness Month 🧠 . At Maxlife Care, we support many clients living with dementia. Competent staff, ongoing training, and close collaboration with allied health professionals, guardians, and families are all crucial in achieving the best outcomes for each person.

Today, we would like to acknowledge Baba, who joined us in 2020. Despite the challenges of dementia, COVID, seizures, and hospitalisations, Baba has continued to defy the odds with the support of his family, health professionals, and dedicated carers. His resilience, warmth, and cheeky sense of humour continue to inspire everyone around him.

Baba’s journey is a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy, quality care, and collaboration. To his team, he is not just a client. He is family, and a true example of strength and perseverance.

This Dementia Awareness Month, we honour Baba and all individuals living with dementia, along with the families and care teams who walk beside them. 💜

What's with the red chair? At Maxlife Care, every decision starts with one question: What’s best for our client?

In our boardroom, there’s a red chair. It’s not just a seat, it’s a symbol. The red chair reminds us that even when a client isn’t physically in the room, their needs, rights, and voice are central to everything we do.

Whether we’re planning a new home, refining our care model, or reviewing feedback, that chair reminds us why we’re here: to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. Because at Maxlife Care, the client always has a seat at the table.
