9 Months In vs. 9 Months Out.. What a Journey!!

It’s incredible to reflect on the past nine months. While I've returned to and even slightly dipped below my pre-pregnancy weight, I've also faced some unexpected challenges, including muscle loss and a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism. The muscle loss was somewhat anticipated due to my reduced workouts, but dealing with these thyroid issues caught me off guard.

So, what am I doing now?

I've shifted my fitness routine to incorporate full-body workouts, gradually building back to my previous lifting levels. I still enjoy my daily walks, but now it's with my two boys by my side. Additionally, I’m focusing on managing my thyroid health and learning the best dietary choices to support it.

I understand that fitting in workouts can be tough with a 9-month-old. Trust me, I get how challenging it can be to prioritize healthy eating, too. However, perfection isn’t necessary every day. Just making one small change can lead to significant improvements. For instance, consider starting by cutting out a teaspoon of sugar from your daily coffee. Small steps can lead to big transformations!!
