EXCITING NEWS....

We are pleased to announce that we will be gradually returning to face to face therapy from October 11!!

We will be maintaining Telehealth appointments where needed. Our return to clinic will be in line with NSW Health’s policies and procedures. Our clinic requires Two-Dose COVID-19 vaccination status for attendance (of eligible age).

Unfortunately, we are uncertain of our return dates to schools (we are frequently in touch with schools and as soon as they advise we may return, we will contact you). Please feel free to contact your therapist if you would like to discuss a clinic or Telehealth appointment in the meantime.

Safety for our clients is paramount. Safe practices will include:

QR code check in and evidence of vaccination status:
You will be required to check in and show vaccination status on arrival to admin staff.

Safe Hygiene Practices
Follow hand hygiene procedures. Regular cleaning of all surfaces will occur. Any equipment that cannot be sterilised will not be used.

Physical Distancing
Clients attending clinic appointments are required to limit time spent in the waiting room (do not arrive early for your appointment). Only 1 parent/carer can attend the clinic and there will be limits on the number of people in the room based on NSW health per square metre rule.

Additionally, if you or your child is unwell or have been in contact with someone who is suspected of having COVID-19 please notify your therapist prior to your appointment.

At this stage, the clinic at North Rocks will be open on Monday and Wednesdays.

We are also in the process of opening a SECOND location in NORWEST!

Days are not confirmed as of yet, but the option for your child to be seen at our second clinic in Norwest will be available soon. If this is preferable for you, please let your therapist know.

CHANGES TO CLINIC OPERATING HOURS

In light of the latest NSW Restrictions, we have made the difficult decision to cease face to face therapy in the clinic until restrictions have been eased.

We are currently operating 100% online offering Telehealth appointments. A short video about online therapy can be viewed below.

RESTRICTED OPERATING HOURS

Kids First Speech Pathology is open, however only offering face to face appointments for those children who are not suitable for online therapy. Policies regarding face masks, general wellbeing, sanitising and QR check in must be adhered to.

All other children will be seen for Telehealth Appointments, or therapy is on hold until restrictions ease.

CHANGES TO KIDS FIRST SPEECH PATHOLOGY

As we enter into NSW's second lockdown, we have made the difficulty decision to cease all face to face therapy until the lockdown is over.

We thank you for your understanding during this time. Your safety and health is important to us, and we feel closing for two weeks during lockdown is the best way to ensure this.

If you have any questions regarding your child's therapy, please don't hesitate to contact us. If you had an appointment scheduled in the next two weeks, you have been contacted directly by your therapist.
