Research has shown that regular resistance training with weights reduces the rate of bone loss and conserves bone tissue as we age, lowering the risk of conditions such as osteoporosis. Furthermore, your chances of falling and sustaining a fracture are reduced with increased muscle mass and bone density.
At Physio Gym, our new Bone Density and Body Building (Hypertrophy) classes provide a comprehensive and safe way of improving bone density and muscle mass through the use of free weights and resistance machines. Our classes are taught by a qualified physiotherapist who will provide you with highly affective resistance exercises in order to improve bone density and muscle mass, whilst ensuring your technique is performed in a correct manner.
Bone Density class
Tuesday - 6.30am-7.30am
Wed - 11am-12pm
Friday - 10am-11am
Body Building class (Hypertrophy Class)
Monday- 6pm-7pm
