We toiled over what to call our clinic.

Family, friends, colleagues, and clients all shared their ideas.

Our vision was clear; create a place of pleasure where transformation can occur.

We pictured a butterfly, changing from a caterpillar to a delicate creature of beauty and strength.

We discovered that ‘butterfly’ originates from the Latin word, ‘papilionem’.

Curious to understand more, we learned that the Old French derivative of the noun is ‘pavilion’, meaning both ‘butterfly’ and ‘tent’, (the canvas of a tent resembles the butterfly’s spread wings).

The dictionary definition of ‘Pavilion’ refers to a building of change, where refreshments are served and the experience is a pleasure.

Closing sentiments: Welcome to Pavilion; a place of pleasure where one can change and transform like a butterfly.
