It's so easy for parts of us to be 😲 or critical at the conflict in our world 🌎 It can seem far beyond our capacity to understand, impact or influence. Maybe we feel hopeless or powerless..😟🤷
It takes courage to choose peace, and as soon as we go inside to notice our own parts at war, we experience that. ⚔️
More importantly, we learn the good intentions of parts on both sides of our inner conflicts 🥷and as we understand their strategies and determination to stick to their respective strategies or beliefs, we also come to understand that both sides are wanting the best for us and have good reasons for their passionate stances. 🧡 As we learn to navigate these differences on the inside, and make space for what is underneath the conflicting combative actions, we also access the compassion that is so deeply needed in the same way on the outside..and this is what makes a difference in our troubled world. 🕊️

To be free to love all parts of ourselves, for parts of us that withdraw, are boisterous, are critical, are scared, are early risers, are late risers, are productive, are exhausted, are confused..to know that night or day, the warmth of the ☀️ is shining on them, celebrating their existence. That's who we can be for them. That is what they long for. To feel our warm light welcoming them on this 🌎 to know they are beloved.
IFS supports us to be there for ourselves, to love all aspects of ourselves, to recognise our inherent beauty and worth.

What I love about coming to know myself more through IFS is that it supports me to honour and appreciate my rational and logical parts AND give equal appreciation and importance to parts of me that carry insights and knowledge in other ways.
