Today, we celebrate the mothers who are holding babies in their arms, carrying babies in their hearts, preparing to meet their little ones, navigating sleepless nights, loving fiercely through loss, fostering, adopting, step-parenting, solo parenting, grandparenting, and mothering in all the beautiful ways it exists.

At Shire Midwifery, we see the strength, tenderness, resilience and love that motherhood carries every single day — and today, we honour you all.

THANK YOU all so much for voting for Shire Midwifery the New Business category. Becoming a finalist is such a surprise as it was a large category and I’m blown away.

It has been a lot of hard work setting up the business but worth every second when I’m spending time with beautiful families and getting baby cuddles at the end.

I love being a Midwife and a feel so blessed to be supported by you all. Thank you!

To all my Midwife friends, colleagues and my own incredible Midwife for my own 3 babies- Thank you for working so incredibly hard for families, supporting and caring for them.

I have loved my entire career and all being a Midwife has done for me, mostly the incredible women and families that I have had the pleasure to meet along the way. It has never felt like work, always a passion.

Shire Midwifery respects women’s informed choices, we encourage families to educate themselves around important birth choices. We can guide you to evidence-based podcasts, books and websites, as well as providing full antenatal, labour & birth or postpartum education. We do not want you to just trust why we say- let’s look at the evidence together 😊.
When informed choices are made, unnecessary interventions are avoided in low risk pregnancies.

Thankful to have met Ryan from . He noticed that I had ordered 3 X Elle Tens 2 in the past year for my clients to use. I only provide the best for my clients- including their electrode pads.
All my care packages include use of the Elle TENS and for home births- free pool and disposable pool liner.

Reach out now if you are interested in midwifery care. Postnatal and lactation consultant appointments also available with Medicare rebates if within the first 6 weeks postpartum.
