Your Achilles tendon works like a spring - it stores energy as your foot hits the ground and releases to propel you forward 🏃‍♂️

The stiffer and more resilient that spring is, the more efficient you are as a runner 💪

If your Achilles has been niggling through your race/gameday prep and you’ve been ignoring it, come see us before it becomes a bigger problem.

Watch along as Conor and Della test out their strength on the VALD and Dyno here in the clinic.

Using VALD and Dyno systems in physio sessions allows us to objectively measure strength, asymmetries, and performance.

This data helps guide rehab, track progress, and make safer return-to-play decisions.

Meet Cormac! 👋

Cormac is a physiotherapist from Ireland with a background in Health and Performance Science. He works with a wide range of clients, from everyday aches and pains to sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation, helping people return to the activities that matter to them.

He has a particular interest in shoulder pain, lower limb tendinopathy, and post-operative rehab, and enjoys helping both active individuals and those simply looking to move more comfortable in day-to-day life.

He has extensive experience working in private practice and across a wide range of sporting environments, including rugby, cycling, Gaelic football and athletics. This includes time working with the Munster Rugby Academy and a national-level cycling team in Ireland.

Outside the clinic, Cormac is a keen triathlete. He loves all things outdoors, whether that’s hiking, sea swimming, or getting out for a good coffee in the sun!
