JAM MVMT

THE JAM MVMT is a rhythm-based indoor cycle studio located in Potts Point. Shoes and towels supplied.

Our classes offer a challenging full-body cardiovascular workout - where we ride to the beat of the music while performing upper body movements. We are located right next to Kings Cross train station, easily accessible by public transport. We have unisex wet room facilities available with GHD hairdryers and straighteners, and hair products.

Xav, I wish you knew how much we all love you ❤️

Every Sunday you were the first there, and you would give the dogs a cuddle. More often, you were the only one who could calm Kingston down.

The way you would help me round up new people and show them that JAM was a space where everyone was welcome and important. I wish you knew so badly how fkn important you are to us. The way you encouraged people to support Josie’s class when she first started and would ensure Mel also showed up every week…. There is no one like you.

From the moment I met you at Undercard, I was always so proud to be your coach.

I know I speak on behalf of everyone at JAM, but there is a hole in our hearts that won’t ever be filled. You always lead with kindness and just wanted to ensure people had a good time.

I played Man in the mirror for you today, and I couldn’t find the words. Denelle yelled out your favourite phrase and we all laughed, but part of me just wanted to hear you say it and it all be a bad dream.

If I’m hurting this much, I can’t even imagine how you felt.

All I want for you, is to be at peace. And I hope you have a bike up there, with the brightest nails and whatever crazy hair colour you decide.

The brightest lights often live in the most darkness…. I hope you’re shining up there Xav.

To Alicia. My boss, my coach and most importantly my friend.

Alicia Portelli - you are magic.

Your energy is electric.
Your heart is full of light. And;
Your force is powerful.

I have had the privilege of standing by your side, being on your team for the last 2.5 years. Everyone has recognised JAM is not defined by 4 walls, JAM is a community of like-minded people coming together to do what they love - the heart and soul of which was led by you and started with your dream. Thank you.

You have a gift - uplifting, inspiring and making the people who are around you better humans by living unapologetically and sharing your soul with them on and off the bike.

While, I don’t know what tomorrow will hold there are three things I wholeheartedly believe to be true.

1. I believe in miracles.
2. I believe you are the best ride coach in the world.
3. I believe this obstacle is freeing you from the bounds of Sydney, allowing you to quite literally spread your wings and fly.

I can’t wait to watch you leave your mark on the world.

Family first ❤️ Please join me in wishing our girl Liv & her family all our love 🙏🏼

You will notice will not be on the schedule for the month of February. She has had to make an emergency trip back to the US to be with family for what is an incredibly heart breaking situation.

Our resident hype girl is always the life and energy of the party, so it is our turn to support her with all the positive vibes and JAM fam love ❤️

She may not be super responsive at this time, but don’t hesitate to send her a message to let her know you’re thinking of her ❤️

Liv, we’re sending you SO much love, you’re in my prayers.

Last year we raised $3k, let’s see what we can do this year.

All monies raised will go directly to Project Rescue Children.

Adam has a few projects running and the charity is very transparent with how they use the monies raised. Adam is a truly incredible human, who not only fights to protect children, he also spends ALOT of time educating parents so we are more aware of the dangers our children can fall prey too.

I have been supporting & work for a while, and will contribute to so soon while I have a platform to shed light on this horrendous topic.

Human trafficking is the worlds fastest growing industry.

Between abuse, exploitation and sacrifice (yes, that’s not a conspiracy theory) children ALL over the world need us more than ever.
