Why are you chasing validation from people who haven’t even learnt to like themselves?

People who are disconnected from themselves
often can’t offer consistency, clarity or reassurance to others. It’s too overwhelming.

Not because you’re not enough
but because they don’t have it within themselves to give.

the more you end up questioning your own worth.

Most women think they have a hormone problem.

But hormones are usually just the symptom.

Behind the scenes there’s often something deeper going on:

gut dysfunction
blood sugar instability
chronic stress
poor detox pathways

Low iron doesn’t just happen.

And giving an iron infusion without understanding why it’s low in the first place often means the problem comes straight back.

Iron levels are influenced by things like:
• gut absorption
• inflammation
• hormones
• stomach acid
• infections or dysbiosis

So if you’re stuck in the cycle of low iron → infusion → low iron again, the root cause likely hasn’t been addressed.

Iron metabolism is about more than ferritin.

Your body doesn’t just react to food, sleep or exercise.

It reacts to people, places and environments too.

When something isn’t right, the body often knows before the mind admits it.

That feeling of unease can feel like:

🤍 Having a tight, or heavy chest
🤍 A queezy gut, feeling bloated, dull ache or nausea
🤍 Headaches or tension in the neck and shoulders
🤍 Mental fatigue that feels like it’s draining you and you can’t switch off
🤍 Trouble sleeping
🤍 Feeling anxious or like you don’t feel seen or safe

Most people don’t leave those situations straight away. Not because they don’t feel it. But because leaving can mean uncertainty, conflict, or change which all equate to fear.

So we override the signals.

We tell ourselves it’s normal.
We push through.
We stay longer than our body is comfortable with.

But those signals are information, not inconvenience.

Sometimes moving forward starts with a simple question:

What is my body trying to tell me about where I am, or who I’m around?

Beer isn’t helping to diversify your microbiome.
Vodka isn’t sterilising in the way you want it to…

Alcohol is actually one of the worst things for gut and immune issues. Especially reflux, bloating and leaky gut.

It:
– irritates the stomach lining
– relaxes the valve that stops acid coming up (hello reflux)
– disrupts the gut microbiome
– increases intestinal permeability (leaky gut)
– slows motility and worsens bloating

Beer can be even worse because of fermentation, carbonation and histamine.

If you’re dealing with reflux, SIBO, candida general gut inflammation or immune issues, alcohol is usually one of the first things that needs to go to allow your body a chance to repair.

Most people aren’t stuck because of their circumstances.

They’re stuck because of the story they keep replaying about themselves.

The story that says:

“I’m bad at relationships.”
“I always get hurt.”
“I’m not the type of person who can do that.”
“Last time didn’t work, so this won’t either.”

So instead of creating a new future they keep protecting an old identity.

An identity built from
old experiences,
old pain,
old versions of themselves.

Just because something happened before doesn’t mean it’s who you are now.

Growth requires you to update the story.

To stop letting a chapter from your past decide what you’re worthy of in your future.

Because if you keep operating from an outdated narrative you’ll keep recreating the same outcomes.

Your life changes when you start asking a different question:

“Is this actually true about me today… or is it just familiar?”
