What comfort really looks like (through the eyes of someone who sees it every day)...

Before Adam’s new custom moulded seat, it was pretty clear—he just wasn’t comfortable. His old seating was quite worn out, and honestly, he looked like he was just putting up with it because it was all he had.

But when we stepped in to reassess and build his new custom moulded seat, everything changed.

His carer told us, “When the new mould come in, it was a whole different story… His back was straight. His head was supported… He said that he really enjoyed it. It was really comfortable.”

These days, Adam’s been going out more. He’s more confident, more active, and yep, we’re even adding a coffee cup holder to his setup. Because the little things? They matter too.

Helping Adam feel this comfortable and supported is why we do what we do. We’re grateful and honoured to be part of his journey—and it’s far from over. 💙

“I didn’t even want to be in my old wheelchair… But with this wheelchair, I want to be in it a lot more.” – Adam

Meet Adam, a 26-year-old with cerebral palsy and scoliosis who recently needed a new custom moulded seat after his posture changed over time.

We’ve been part of Adam’s journey since 2019, and recently, we had the chance to revisit his setup. His old mould wasn’t working for him anymore. So we started fresh with a full custom mould simulation, some gentle spinal correction, and an offset headrest for extra support.

Within half an hour of being in his new seat, Adam fell asleep, and to us, that’s one of the clearest signs he’s finally comfortable. 💙 These days, he’s back to taking the train and enjoying the freedom that comes with feeling comfortable.

Because when the seating feels right, life gets a whole lot easier.

Let us tell you about one of our favorite client stories' yet.

Phil, one of our Seating Technicians, got a message from a parent not too long ago. They said the new seating setup we’d created for their son brought them to tears, but not for the reason you might think.

They’d just driven from Canberra to Sydney for a specialist appointment. And usually, those car trips were rough. Their son would cry the whole way; agitated, uncomfortable, and just not coping in his old wheelchair.

But this time? He was calm, quiet, and content. So for the first time ever, they made the whole trip in peace.

And honestly, it’s moments like this that remind us why we do what we do. 💙
