NeuroCog Clinic

NeuroCog Clinic NeuroCog combines psychology and neuroscience to deliver brain-based care for individuals, families, and organisations, including NDIS participants.

Our team provides evidence-based psychotherapy, neuropsychological assessments, and practical skills training to support emotional regulation, resilience, and day-to-day functioning. We offer NDIS psychology services and support coordinators, families, and participants with clear goals and measurable progress. Sessions are available in person in Manly and via secure telehealth across Australia. We support concerns including anxiety, mood, stress, trauma, ADHD, learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental needs, and workplace challenges. Alongside our clinic services, we develop digital tools like the Neury app and PsychFlow for clinicians, helping bring structured, neuroscience-informed programs into everyday life and practice.

Psychology support that focuses on skills — not labels.

Traditional therapy often begins with a diagnosis and builds treatment around it. The NeuroCog® System takes a different approach.

We focus on what a person is struggling with and how to build regulation, awareness, and adaptability skills that last beyond therapy. The goal isn’t dependency — it’s long-term capacity.

In-person sessions in Manly and telehealth available.

High performance isn’t just about motivation. — it’s regulation, timing, adaptability, and the ability to access skills under pressure.

At the NeuroCog® Clinic, we use the NeuroCog® System to train awareness and regulation in real time — whether in sport, work, relationships, or everyday life.

Neurocognitive training focuses on how the nervous system and cognitive processes interact under stress — and how that capacity can be strengthened.

Many parents simply sense that something more could help with daily challenges — and that instinct matters.

NDIS autism support may be helpful if you’re noticing:

1️⃣ Big emotions that escalate quickly
Emotional reactions feel intense, sudden, and hard to regulate — even around small triggers.

2️⃣ Frequent conflict around everyday moments
Routines, transitions, food, or leaving the house regularly turn into stress or shutdown.

3️⃣ School-related stress or burnout
School refusal, difficulty coping during the day, or complete exhaustion once the day ends.

4️⃣ An anxious or constantly alert nervous system
Trouble sleeping, ongoing worry, or a body that seems stuck in “high alert” mode.

5️⃣ Social stress or isolation
Confusion around social rules, misunderstandings with peers, or withdrawing from social situations.

6️⃣ Sensory overwhelm
Sounds, textures, lights, or busy environments lead to overload and behaviours that feel hard to manage.

7️⃣ Feeling stuck as a parent
You’re doing your best, but feel unsure how to help, need guidance, or simply need support too.

At the NeuroCog® Clinic, our NDIS autism support focuses on understanding how a child’s nervous system, emotions, and behaviour interact — and building skills that support regulation, adaptability, and daily functioning.
If this resonates, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Evolution can help explain human behaviour — but only when it’s used with context and responsibility.
When scientific ideas are oversimplified, they risk doing harm rather than building understanding.

That’s why how we talk about evolution matters. We explore this in our latest Neurocog® blog.

When life gets loud, awareness turns the volume down.
Most of us move from task to task without ever stopping to notice how we actually feel. But the more aware you become, the less overwhelmed your body and mind feel.

You are not your diagnosis

At NeuroCog® we focus on understanding you and your unique path- your behaviors, emotions, body reactions - without reducing you to a label. Every behavior has a reason, and awareness is the first step to growth.

Start understanding your patterns, not seeing them as limitations.

..We've launched a podcast! 🎙️🎙️🎙️

The Good Shift with Dr Stephen Wolfson challenges the traditional conversation around 'mental health' and offers a fresh approach to personal growth and development.

The pilot episode is live now, where Steve discusses how we can reframe the way we see ourselves.

Instead of viewing thoughts, emotions, and behaviours as unchangeable we can develop the skills to strengthen our abilities. Just like increasing strength through exercise, we can increase our capacity through personal development 💪
