The NeuroPhysics team (Frank Cuiuli, Director) at PIVOTme in collaboration with Josie Wakim (JSC Psychology Centre) for a trial treatment with a patient known to her who suffered a stroke and has reached a plateau with her conventional rehabilitation treatment over the last 4 years.
Individuals who suffer a stroke often experience complex psychological trauma. The results from this case study, guided by Josie Wakim (Psychologist and Clinical Director), supported the hypothesis that NeuroPhysics Therapy as a preferred rehabilitation approach integrated with psychological interventions showed significant improvement with this patient’s recovery both physical and psychological.
Although, its early stages with this approach, there is a great indication that future collaborations between NeuroPhysics Therapy and Psychological clinical interventions to improve rehabilitation, not only, with stroke patients but other complex issues. The study showed possibilities with other integrated interventions focused on patient-centered approaches.
#agelessnad day 3 and feeling great! Going to be interesting crunching the data collected but for now.... feeling great!

Coming back from life's major setbacks
Sometimes we don't get to choose the things that happen to us in life but we can choose how we deal with them.
Chadi's life was changed after a car accident which left him in a coma for 3 months. The doctors didn't think he would survive.
Not only did he survive, but his attitude to take life by the horns is infectious. After 2.5 months with us in treatment, I can honestly see that nothing will stop this guy!
Sending off a client in style! With a challenge ;-)
(REPOSTED as original Video was cropped weirdly)
This legend has been with us for almost 3 months doing therapy. Came to us in a wheelchair and could not walk! This is how we sent him off before he heads back to Lebanon! Rockstar
Client Update
2 months in and Chadi’s progress has been awesome. Considering he couldn’t walk when he commenced his therapy this is a great result.
He has put in the effort and achieved results. We are fortunate to be part of his journey.
#PIVOTme #NeuroPhysicsTherapy
How we move from one stressor in life to another is a behaviour we can train.
In this case moving from a big stressor (max hack squat) into a new stressor (cable row) while maintaining absolute executive command over mind & body translates into everything else we do.
We don’t train for aesthetics in our programs, they should be the bi product. We train for improving mental capacity!

3 weeks ago Chadi couldn’t bend at the left hip. Today pushing out some squats!
This was just before the unassisted steps!
#hardwork #Neurophysics_Therapy
Taking our first unassisted steps today was a real moment.
Chadi set a goal to achieve that within 3 weeks of his therapy and did so. To be honest we were not even thinking about that goal when we did it.
Kicking #braininjury in the butt!
Great job Chadi
Beating Life's Major Hurdles
In the business world, we all speak about peak performance and #resiliency. However, it's when you work with people such as Chadi in this video who have been dealt a massive blow in life, that you really see what it's like to be committed and work hard.
I am lucky that I get the opportunity to work with people with such varied conditions. With the right methods, you can literally alter the conditions of the Nervous System and rewire pathways in rapid timescales.
Keep across Chadi's progress over the next 3 months and offer some support through comments!
Webinar follow up. Tools for success
