Eeek! How is it November next week?!

After four months in Sydney lockdown and weather that seems to be all over the place, I have completely lost track of the year.

Being one of the contributing authors in “INTUITIVE - Knowing Her Truth” was my first step forward into the world of being a published author. It was the step that gave me the confidence to then push on and write my own book.

Little did any of us know at the time that it would be the first the first in the INTUITIVE series.

“INTUITIVE - Speaking Her Truth” launched yesterday and it is brilliant. There is something quite magical about reading the stories and lived experience of women connecting to their intuition and the circumstances that led them to speak their truth.

I don’t know how does it but she keeps drawing the most incredible women together to share their stories.

It might surprise you that being an author, I sometimes (often) struggle to find the write words to convey how I feel.

Feeling is my superpower, it’s also my primary intuitive sense. Some days (once again… often!) the feelings get so strong that I shut down completely so I don’t go into overwhelm.

Brigid is one of the few people in my circle who totally sees, knows and understands that about me. She’s also someone who doesn’t let me shrink back and hide in those moments of overwhelm.

I was thrilled when Brigid agreed to write the foreword in Spiritual Bein Human. But when I finally read what she wrote, I was lost for words….

Do you see the house with a giant heart on it?

A few weeks ago, I probably wouldn’t have noticed this out on one of our regular family walks. It’s only now that I can see how hard I’d been going. After taking a step back, I can see just how much energy (and lack of sleep) was poured into writing and launching Spiritual Being Human, as well as living, working and parenting through Sydney’s 4 month lockdown, starting a new day job (and working on another little passion project, yet to be launched).

Ahhh, deep breaths… We made it out the other side, sanity intact and perceptions heightened enough to notice all the magic around… like a giant heart on the side of a house! Seriously, how awesome is that?
