Introducing the Sweet Spot Series

Your weekly dose of support through the ups, downs and in betweens of finding your sweet spot with food.

This is for anyone navigating eating disorder or disordered eating recovery, still figuring things out or have stepped away from treatment but still want ongoing support.

If recovery feels like it swings between I’m doing okay’ and ‘this is really hard’

if you often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you are meant to be further along than you are…

or if you have recovered and are simply wanting a regular, gentle dose of support to stay connected without formal treatment, you’re in the right place.

Each week, we’ll land in your inbox with a love letter (email) with something simple, honest and actually useful to help you keep moving forward, even when it feels hard.

If you would like to join, comment ‘SERIES’ below or head to the link in bio ✨

In a world obsessed with calories, sauces and other condiments often get the squeeze.

But similarly to how music can make even the most mundane task feel a bit more whimsical…

Adding sauces can help you eat a wider variety of foods (especially veggies) in a far less boring, sucky way.

The benefits of which (such as fibre-maxxing), FAR outweigh a few extra cals on the plate.

A sweeter relationship with food often starts with making good nutrition enjoyable and sustainable.

What’s your go-to sauce right now?

Ate more chocolate than usual over Easter?

Same.

Congratulations on being a human with taste buds.

You don’t need to get back on track.

You don’t need to punish yourself.

And you definitely don’t need to “earn” your food today.

Your body isn’t confused by a few days of chocolate.

But it will notice restriction and chaos.

So skip the diet BS.
Eat your next meal.
Keep the regular meals and snacks coming.

Let chocolate stay on the menu.

Groundbreaking, we know.

If the post-Easter spiral is knocking on your door,
take this as your reminder to choose consistency over control.

Hungry? It’s not just a growling stomach.
Or something you’re supposed to ignore because you “just ate.”

But hunger isn’t a character flaw.
It’s a body signal.

When you ignore or override these signals, a few things happen:
Blood sugar dips → hello fatigue, irritability, and cravings.

Hormones get out of sync → ghrelin (hunger hormone) rises, leptin (fullness hormone) drops.

Mood tanks → hangry isn’t no joke people.

Digestion slows → your body tries to conserve energy.

Brain fog creeps in → making food decisions even harder.

Then you try to tough it out, the pendulum swings the other way.

And just like that, you’re stuck in a loop:
Ignore hunger → body signals get stronger → anxiety around food → ignore again.

Your hunger cues aren’t the problem.

They’re your body’s way of telling you what it needs to function, thrive, and feel good.

Learning how to respond to hunger consistently is one of the biggest steps finding your sweet spot with good.

And it’s exactly what we help people rebuild.

Bloated. Constipated. Reflux out of nowhere.

Only to be told it’s “just IBS”.
Or that your gut is “sensitive.”

Sometimes it’s not your gut being dramatic.
It’s your body not getting enough food.

Your digestive system thrives on consistency, not deprivation.

When food is consistent or not enough, a few things happen:

Digestion slows to conserve energy → hello bloating and sluggish bowels.

Stomach acid and digestive enzymes drop → harder to break food down.

Fibre intake usually drops → constipation and uncomfortable poops.

Stress hormones rise → fight or flight mode, which disrupts digestion.

Your gut microbes get underfed → impacting digestion, immunity and even mood.

Then you try to eat a “normal” meal... and you feel worse.

And just like that, you’re stuck in a loop:

Less food → more symptoms → more fear → even less food.

Your body is trying to survive on not enough.

If your digestion has felt off and you’re someone who accidentally turns breakfast into a coffee... that’s not a coincidence.

We help you rebuild consistency so your gut can actually do its job again.
