Big news for our mamas 🤍✨

Dr Maddi is now a Certified Webster Practitioner!

The Webster Technique is a gentle, specific chiropractic approach designed to support the body during pregnancy. It focuses on pelvic alignment and nervous system balance—helping to create more space, ease and comfort as your body prepares for birth.

We often see this support translate to:
• improved comfort levels
• reduced pelvic and lower back tension
• better overall balance in the body
• a more supported, connected pregnancy journey

Pregnancy is a time of huge change (and let’s be honest… sometimes discomfort too), and having the right support can make all the difference 🤍

If you’re currently pregnant and looking for a natural way to support your body through this season, we’d love to help.

POV: You googled “why does my neck hurt?” 👀📱

Sometimes it’s not one big thing… it’s the little everyday habits that add up. Long hours on your phone, working at a desk, feeding bub, poor sleep positions, stress, or repetitive postures can all impact how your body moves and functions.

Pain and symptoms are often your body’s way of asking for change, support, or a reset.

If your neck has been talking to you lately… it might be time to listen. 🌱

Every walk, every nourishing meal, every adjustment, every early night, every moment you choose to care for yourself… it adds up.
Health isn’t built in one big moment. It’s created through the little things done consistently over time.
Your future self is shaped by the choices you make today 🌱

Did you know primitive reflexes can influence how children experience the sensory world around them? 🧠

When reflexes like the Moro, Palmar or Plantar reflex remain active, the nervous system can become more sensitive to everyday input such as sound, light and touch.

This may look like:
📢sensitivity to loud environments
💡discomfort with bright lights
🪨avoiding certain textures
🏟️strong reactions to busy places
😶difficulty regulating emotions

For many children, these behaviours are not simply “preferences”, they are signs the nervous system may still be working through early developmental patterns.

When the brain and body integrate well, children are better able to filter sensory input, feel calm, and engage confidently with their world.

Understanding the nervous system helps us support children in the way they truly need 🌱

Mums carry so much - physically, mentally, emotionally 🤍
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, sleep deprivation, mental load, and constant caring all place real demands on the nervous system and body.

We see mums for pregnancy care, pelvic and back pain, postural strain, birth preparation, postpartum recovery, fatigue and nervous system overload,(our care is about more than pain relief)

We support women’s bodies and nervous systems so they can feel stronger, more regulated, more supported, and more resilient 🌱
Because mums deserve care that looks after the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Childhood is a time of rapid growth (physically, emotionally, neurologically 🧠)
Movement, coordination, learning, behaviour and regulation are all deeply connected through the nervous system.

Parents book their children in to see us for things like attention issues, posture, balance, coordination, emotional regulation, learning challenges, headaches and growing pains, but our care goes deeper than the symptoms.

Chiropractic care supports nervous system regulation, body awareness, and healthy development from the inside out 🌱
Because when the foundations are strong, everything else can build on top.

We often think of the mind and body as separate… but they are constantly communicating 🗣️

Stress can show up as headaches, tight shoulders, digestive troubles, or poor sleep.
Physical tension can influence mood, focus, and emotional regulation.

When we support the body, we support the nervous system.
When the nervous system feels safe and regulated, the mind can thrive 🌱

True health comes from caring for the whole person — body, brain, and emotions.

✨ We are here for gentle care, connected health and whole-family wellbeing. ✨

Crossing the midline isn’t just a “movement skill”, it’s a brain development skill 🧠✨
Why this matters:
Crossing the midline helps develop:
✔️ coordination
✔️ bilateral integration
✔️ handwriting & learning
✔️ emotional regulation
✔️ nervous system maturity
✔️ confidence in movement
✔️ brain hemisphere communication

When primitive reflexes like ATNR and Moro remain active past the 12 months of age, children can struggle to move smoothly across their body, which often shows up as:

• poor coordination
• clumsiness
• difficulty with handwriting
• trouble reading across a page
• emotional dysregulation
• low frustration tolerance
• poor posture
• difficulty sitting still
• sensory overwhelm
• reduced confidence in movement

These reflexes can interfere with how the left and right sides of the brain communicate, impacting both physical development and emotional regulation.

The good news?
With the right assessment, movement support and nervous system integration, these patterns can be supported and improved 🌱

Because when the brain and body connect well — kids don’t just move better…
They feel better, learn better, and regulate better 💛
