I am a rebel by nature.
But I am have a structured part of me.
Dance is a realm where I can blend both.
Dance allows me to be wild and free.
Dance allows me to connect with another.
Dancing together requires a few things:
- willingness to listen
- openness to being guided
- trust
- structure to support fluid movement
- skills that require practice
- don’t be afraid to make mistakes, laughing at them
I’ve learnt it all through dance and movement.
Alone or together, dance is something by soul came with and it was reignited by mum mum’s passion to dance too.
How grateful and lucky I am!

Trying to remember bolero steps.
I miss dancing bolero. I find it elegant, classic, romantic and beautiful .
And it’s delicious to dance with a lead who can feel you and your body and move with your strengths and limitations.

I started learning Maracatu 2 years ago. Firstly it really helped me to stay present as I was going through a very tough time. Since then l, my sense of rhythm has improved, my ADHD symptoms have decreased. And there a found a family, a community I love being part of. This coming Sunday we are preparing something special for you. An opportunity for you to immerse in rhythm of drums and Brazilian and Afro culture. When you add a somatic approach to what you do, whether you’re a therapist, healer or coach, there is an important scope to tend to and hold.
As a somatic therapist, my priority is to grow my own capacity to feel and hold big emotions.
So that I can hold it for my clients who come with deep grief, resistance or in a state of survival.

You started you body-based business as a soul calling, then the heaviness started to build up...
✅ The endless admin and marketing tasks, the back-and-forth booking emails that ended up in client no-shows or last minute cancelations and made you feel more like a receptionist than a therapist...
✅ Your body began to ache, with sore thumbs, having to cancel clients because of the stiff back or getting sick and run down after another booked out week in your practice.
So when you turned 40 you started to wonder if you could keep doing this for another 20.
But the truth is that you don't know what you'd do instead.
Here is the truth..
When things feel stuck, it’s not always a mindset block.
It’s often your body telling you it's ready to scale.
Because it can't bypass your nervous system (safety-check guard), your Nervous System needs an upgrade.
Your nervous system entered fight or flight but no matter what you do, you can't get it out of that state.
Good news:
⚡️It's not about doing more.
⚡️It's not about pressure for success.
⚡️It's not about over-giving and not receiving.

The more regulated your body, the more magnetic your transformational offers.
This is true leadership.

I am sure you are ready.
Now you just need to build this new relationship with your Nervous System and bring it on board as you scale your business 1: many online.

This release has blown my mind after dance last tonight.
I dropped into felt sense and noticed my frontal fascia was tight, holding, restricted. (I’ve beenn feeling it for some time.)
So I allowed myself to be in extension standing and laying down. (Stretching the front of my body).
The fascia around my throat was restricted.
Did you know we have fascia around the throat? It’s called “deep front line”, the one the photo.
You can research what they are, what they do.
But what I want to share here is the magic that becomes possible when we access it and release it.
Even though there are bodyworkers who help you release your myofascia, you can totally do that yourself.
For that, you do need:
✅ to carve out time to restore your bodylast
✅ patience to wait the body’s timing to release
✅ develop your interoception (ability to feel what’s going on deep into your body)
After I’ve released it (it took at least 30 minutes).
There was a surge of life force I haven’t felt in a whole year.
I was on fire, after releasing the constriction.
I had friends coming up to me after dance saying I was an 🔥electrifying beauty.🔥
This all after my GP tell me I’m experiencing severe depression. (Mild, yes, but I don’t agree with “severe”, conversation for another time)
So guys, releasing your fascia is so key not only for movement, but it holds your emotions too.

My Vision is to live in a Planet I feel proud about. That’s why I dedicate my life to creating change in our Mind, our body and our emotions from long-term past conditioning and suffering. There are so many things we don’t question and if we do question, so many things we don’t understand. To find balance, knowing thyself is imperative. And it is a fun, exciting and rewarding journey of self-exploration. My mission is to share good vibes and the tools for us to self-heal from: * overwhelming emotions (anger, rage, sadness, depression, anxiety) * physical ailments and chronic pain * lack of confidence * lack of purpose

All the answers are in our body. And we are all just learning how to LISTEN.
