Commonly known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is a time to celebrate light over darkness, good over evil, and joy over sorrow. It’s a special occasion for families and communities to come together, share happiness and create lasting memories.

Dance under the Moon: Mid-Autum Celebration @ Clover Lea
Friday saw us celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with joy and colour. All staff wore our special red t-shirts, bringing a festive spirit to the day. Residents delighted in a graceful Chinese dance performance, mooncakes, and traditional treats—just like families in China gathering under the full moon to share food and stories.

At Clover Lea, we treasure every tradition, creating moments where everyone feels at home. Under the Mid-Autumn moon, we shared not just food, but the warmth of belonging and family.

Talk Like A Pirate Day 🦜🛶⚓️
Our residents at Grafton Aged Care Home set sail on a 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' adventure, and what a journey it was! We traded our usual routine for a fun-filled bus outing treasure hunt! Armed with maps, riddles, and pirate lingo, residents worked together to solve clues at local spots around town. The final treasure? A sweet treat—ice-cream cones to celebrate a successful hunt!
