Today’s Achievement – Improving Deep Breathing 🫁

I had three personal yoga sessions today, and our main focus was deep, mindful breathing — learning to slow the breath and expand lung capacity.

✨ In just one class, the results were incredible:
1️⃣ Student 2 started at 4 breaths per minute and improved to just 1½!
2️⃣ Student 3 went from 3 breaths per minute to an amazing 1.25.
3️⃣ Student 1 began with 8 breaths per minute and finished with only 4.

These numbers show how, with the right guidance, the body quickly learns to relax and breathe more efficiently.

💫 Why slow, deep breathing matters:

Calms the nervous system and reduces stress
Improves lung capacity and oxygen flow
Balances blood pressure and heart rate
Supports better focus, sleep, and emotional balance
Contributes to longevity and overall well-being

One of my students woke up with a bad headache but still did not miss the class.
After just one session, she felt 99% relief from her headache. 🌸

What we practiced:

Cat & Cow (Marjariasana)
Balasana (Child Pose)
Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Dog)
Gentle head exercises & acupressure
Hand rubbing & healing mudras
Relaxation with soothing music

Pranayama: Anulom Vilom, Bhramari, Box Breathing

🌿 Result: From pain to peace — all in one class.
🌿 With consistency and the right guidance, yoga can naturally heal headaches and bring instant relief.

She wasn’t able to touch the floor in Child Pose for long.
We identified where we needed to work and focused mainly on:

Pelvic floor muscles
Lower abdominal strength
Hamstrings and quadriceps

And guess what?
In just one class, she was able to do it! 🙌💫
