Pauline is a French-trained physiotherapist with a strong interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries, particularly those affecting the upper limbs and back.

Before becoming a physio, Pauline worked as a civil engineer, but her passion for health, movement, and helping people led her to retrain in physiotherapy. She takes a patient-centred approach, working closely with patients to help them recover, move better, and stay active.

Pauline is also fluent in both 🇬🇧 English and 🇫🇷 French.

Painful arc? Unable to play the sports you want to play? Unable to lift the weights you want to lift? Have you been on a rigorous training program devoid of rest? Shoulder tendinopathies are something that should be investigated and ruled out if this is the case for you. Often we may experience localised knee pain that is poorly identified. In this case, it could be the development of patello femoral pain syndrome; exacerbated by alignment of the kneecap and or training overuse. However good training biokinematics may attenuate this pain.

While medical scans are not required to identify this injury, clinicans may use special tests to diagnose. Treatment of this injury then includes rest, a short course of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and physical therapy directed at strengthening the hip flexor, trunk, and knee muscle groups.
