This isn’t discomfort you just have to live with.

If you’re soaking through pads or tampons quickly, passing large clots, bleeding for longer than a week or your period is affecting your daily life, it may be a sign that something else is going on.

Your symptoms deserve to be taken seriously. If your period feels overwhelming or disruptive, speaking with an OMNI expert could be an important step toward understanding what’s happening in your body.

Sufferers live with heavy, painful periods which can significantly impact their quality of life. But there are experts and evidence-based treatments that can help.

This seminal piece of work conducted by the Condous group in 2013 has been adopted into the IDEA methodology. The sliding sign is used to assess for the presence or absence of adhesions between the re**um and the cervix/uterus. This is performed by the sonographer and is a great way to predict potential high stage endometriosis.

The sliding sign, which was started in Sydney by the Condous team, has now been adopted in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia.

The Condous team has truly changed the face of non-invasive diagnosis of endometriosis worldwide.

If you’re preparing for an initial OMNI transvaginal ultrasound scan, keeping track of your symptoms can make a real difference.

Logging things like pain levels, bloating, fatigue, diet changes, bowel or bladder symptoms and even how you’re feeling day to day can help paint a clearer picture of what your body is experiencing. This information can support more informed conversations with your healthcare provider and help them better understand your symptoms over time.
