Neurosurgery Lecture TODAY – Postponed Due to Severe Weather

Due to the storm warning in effect for Sydney tonight, we’ve decided to align with the University of Sydney School of Medicine and postpone the first lecture in our neurosurgery series.

We sincerely apologise for the short notice and any disruption to your plans. The safety of our attendees and speakers is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

EMPoWER: “Empowering and Motivating Pre-SET Women in surgERy”

ASSA is proud to bring back EMPoWER in 2025 in collaboration with Sydney University Surgical Society (SUSS) and Australian National University Surgical Society (ANUSS)— a program designed to empower and inspire female medical students considering a future in surgery. This hands-on session is perfect for students at all skill levels, offering a fantastic opportunity to learn and refine essential suturing techniques under the guidance of experienced doctors. Each student will receive one hour of dedicated training, so don’t miss out!
