We are often witness to distressing scenes and can be exposed to intense human suffering. The weight of these experiences can take a toll on our mental and emotional health. Compassion practices help to maintain our humanity and foster strong interpersonal relationships. By extending empathy and kindness toward yourself and colleagues, workers can share the emotional burden and build robust support networks.
