Sydney Sports Physio and Rehab were proud to participate and attend the Cancer Rehabilitation Expo at Norwest Private Hospital. We provided information to the participants about our clinic and what we offer including physiotherapy, exercise physiology and dietician services, hydrotherapy, reformer and group exercise classes all to assist individuals suffering from any cancers and during any time of their cancer journey (Pre/ During and Post treatments or surgeries). We were able to network with a variety of other providers including psychologists, hair and makeup stylists, massage therapist and lymphatic nurses all improving the health and wellbeing of the cancer survivorship patients.

Our amazing physio Hayley is taking on her first half-marathon at the Runaway Sydney Half Marathon!
Last December, Hayley was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to early detection, surgery, and the incredible support of breast care nurses, she’s had a positive outcome. Now she’s giving back by fundraising for the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help others in their journey.

We are excited to announce that we are now offering a Type 2 Diabetes Group Class that will incorporate both tailored group exercise classes and group dietician consultations.

These exercise classes look to assist individuals suffering from type 2 diabetes by incorporating aerobic, strength and balance exercises which will reduce an individual’s blood sugar levels, increase functional capacity and wellbeing.

RIP Griffo

Vale Paul Griffin – A True Legend.
It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Paul ‘Griffo’ Griffin, a beloved figure in the rugby league community.
Paul was larger than life. He was a dedicated family man and Paul’s love for his wife Robyn, children Kayla, Jayden and Dana, grandchildren, parents, siblings and extended family was evident in everything he did. He was a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration to many. His generosity and community spirit touched everyone around him.
While we mourn the loss of this extraordinary man, we also celebrate the incredible legacy Paul leaves behind. Paul’s passion for the game of rugby league, and unwavering dedication to the Hills Bulls will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We are forever grateful for his influence, his generosity, and the mark he left on the Hills Bulls and the broader rugby league community.
Griffo’s generosity will forever live on with his gift of life through organ donation.
To Paul’s family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him, we extend our deepest condolences. Our thoughts are with you at this incredibly difficult time. Paul Griffin may no longer be with us, but his spirit will forever live on in the Hills Bulls community. Rest in Peace.
