Health and fitness is a lifestyle and never a quick fix. We teach you the fundamental tools to incorporate healthy habits and effective exercise into your life. We want to educate you so that you can make the best decisions for yourself, family and friends in regards to your health. We offer one on one and small group training (including Mum's & Bub's). Note that for now rehab clients will be on a one on one format (it allows for better care and faster progress). I don’t have great genetics either, most of my family is obese and has really poor health. But most of that is poor lifestyle and health habits.

And that’s my driver! The cycle breaks with me, I own my health and so will my kids.

I want to empower you to do the same. You can hide being your excuses or take ownership and figure out what is within your control and what you can do better. 💪

It can feel overwhelming if there is a long road ahead of yourself to reclaim your health.

To many things to consider, nutrition, sleep, stress and of course training… don’t let this paralyse you.

Start somewhere, take the first step.

Start moving in the right direction, things will snowball 💪

The biggest reason you haven’t achieved your goals last year, is most likely because you didn’t take action.

Of course having the right goal and a good plan to achieve it is important but you need to start and that’s the hardest part of the process.

Let’s take actions! You will be sure to not be in the same spot next year. 🙌

I am totally guilty of this and need constant reminder myself.

Take some time to look back at what you have accomplished and gone through. It feels good.

It’s ok if you have come short of a few goals. Acknowledge that you have started the process or that you have put in the work. If not, well that’s a learning lesson to plan next year better. 😉

Size does matter.

Go heavy and low reps if you want to get stronger, build muscle and fight off osteoporosis.

Heavy is a relative term to you 😉

1. Most people bring their hips to their heels and that really reduces the amount of power you can generate as you will have to use your quads and can’t engage your hamstrings and glutes as much.
Think about a deadlift position, with you hips a bit further away from your heels.

2. Finish the pull! Legs - hips and then arms. If you get this order all mixed up, you will end up pulling with your arms as you are already starting to bend the legs again. Once you finish the pull, release the arms immediately and follow the handle to go back.

Slow down your rowing for a bit if you want to change your technique. It’s worth it.
