🥗I started studying nutrition because I knew firsthand how deeply it impacts mental health. 🧠🫐

For years I struggled with disordered eating- riding the rollercoaster of restriction, binge, purge and guilt... along with the overwhelming mental toll that came with it.
What I didn't realise was how much my brain and body were crying out for nourishment. 🥬🍇🍅

When I began to understand how food influences energy ⚡ mood 😆 and even thought patterns 🤔…everything shifted!

I discovered nutrition isn't just about 'eating healthy'- it's about supporting your nervous system 🧘‍♀️ nourishing your gut 🍐 and creating balance from the inside out ☯.
Now I have the privilege of helping others reconnect with food in a way that supports both physical and mental well-being. 🥰🌿🤸‍♀️

- As our body’s main source of energy- they keep us active and alert
- Think wholegrains, fruits and vegetables: not only do these provide fuel but also fibre, vitamins and minerals
- Utilise simple carbohydrates before a workout for a quick energy burst and use complex carbohydrates throughout the day to help stabilise blood sugar levels and provide a sustained energy release
