1. No New Gear: Race day isn’t the time to break in new shoes or outfits. Stick to what you know and trust.
2. Carb Load but don't over do it: Load up a little extra on carbs the day before, but avoid overloading your gut.
3. Trust Your Pace: Adrenaline is real. Stick to the pace you’ve trained at, your body knows what to do.

Cracking your knuckles does NOT cause arthritis! (shocking I know)

That pop you hear? It’s just gas bubbles collapsing in your joint fluid — totally normal.
Some people can crack more easily because of looser joint capsules or naturally more flexible connective tissue. Everyone’s built a little differently!
